I did not say, as the business claims, that I paid by credit cardI said that I paid by cash on the original visitI then received multiple bills months later, at which point I no longer had the receiptI then thought, well it's only twenty bucks, so I mailed them a check, and I even corrected the apartment number they had been sending the bills to using the area provided for that purpose on the back of the billI did that so my neighbor would no longer have to bring their bills over to my apartmentA year later, they sent a new bill to my corrected address, which tells me that they received my letter with the check and corrected their records with my address.

This serves as a response to Revdex.com case #***, a complaint filed by a *** ***After reviewing *** ***’s account, I have found that there is still no evidence of *** ***’s payment for his March ***, copay*** *** did not indicate in his complaint how he paid the bill (which
can be done via credit card, check, cash, or payment portal) when receiving our statementA search through our patient portal payments shows he did not make the payment via the company websiteWe do show that Nart has paid his copay for his March ***, visit by cash and his June ***, visit by credit cardTherefore if *** ***’s claims are correct, he simply needs to provide us with evidence of his payment on his credit card statementHowever, when our staff requested this from *** *** when he called, he indicated that it would be an inconvenience for him to do so and proceeded to badger the staff by saying we need to “fix our records.” We would be happy to record *** ***’s payment if he did in fact pay itHowever, *** *** has not provided us any evidence that the payment was made on either occasion- even after we had requested itTherefore, we must assume that the payment was not made

Review: [redacted] performed a [redacted] on me in November 2014 for [redacted]. The [redacted] was successsful, but as part of the follow up, I have to see [redacted] every 3 months. I made it very clear to [redacted]'s office that I need to see him, specifically, and not an assisting physician. Due to that request, I had to schedule an appointment pretty far in advance for February [redacted], which was when [redacted] was in the office (Monday). I confirmed the appointment on Friday and made sure [redacted] was going to see me. When I showed up on Monday, I was guided to a patient room, and undressed (per protocol). To my surprise, an assisting physician came into the room and told me that [redacted] was not there that day. I was very disappointed, citing my complaint and situation. She examined me anyway and gave me a [redacted] for a [redacted] that I had. When I came downstairs, I once again expressed my concern: I was just recently diagnosed with [redacted], and made an explicit point to see [redacted], and no one notified me that he wasn't there. I had to take time out of work for this - which is hard - plus it takes 45 minutes to go there and back each way. So, its hard to make multiple trips. I told the billing office that I dont expect to be billed for my visit. They seemed to have agreed. However, I still got a bill in the mail a month later. NOt to mention, the [redacted] that the assisting physician gave me was not effective as it was not in the exact place I needed. so, I still have the [redacted]. I am truly disappointed in how disorganized and callous this office is.Desired Settlement: My bill is for $132.39 - given the circumstances, I dont believe that I should pay this as I was not treated by a real doctor, and generally misled.

Review: Business made me put down a $210 deposit until they received payment for my visit/service from my health insurance company. They have already received their payment from my insurance company. I have since contacted them 5 times to get my deposit back. They keep telling me they will call me back but never do. They promised to credit back the $210 to my original form of payment (credit card) and still have not. It's been two months now and they keep avoiding paying me back. As of right now they kept both of my $210 and the payment from my insurance company.Desired Settlement: I would like my $210 back like they promised me.

Review: The practice incorrectly billed me (and my insurance company) for a procedure that was never performed on me. I contacted both my insurance company and the lab that processed the test to explain that it wasn't a procedure I received (which the practice admits to. They have confirmed that I never received the procedure).

Both the insurance company AND the lab have reached out to the practice on my behalf to sort the issue (all the insurance company needs is for the practice to call in and clear the claim), but they are repeatedly hung up on or placed on hold for untenable amounts of time.

I have called, emailed, and visited in person the practice multiple times, and each time, I am treated not only with disdain but with a dismissal.

The cost of the procedure that I never received will go into collections, and yet the practice refuses to do something as simple as call the insurance company to clear the claim.Desired Settlement: I just need the practice to inform both the insurance company AND the lab that is billing me that this was a false charge so that they can remove the charge from my accounts.

Review: Bobby Buka MD has referred an uncollected bill for medical services to a collection agency without any attempt to first send me any invoice / bill whatsoever or attempt to contact me first.What's more, I have visited the office 5 times over the course of the procedure subject to the uncollected bill and asked every single time if anything was due only to receive a negative response.It is unacceptable for this office to submit a claim to a collection agency and ruin my credit history without first billing me or giving me information about my bill after explicit inquiries on my part.Desired Settlement: I would like Bobby Buka MD to withdraw the claim for uncollected bill from the collection agency and ensure that any notifications to the credit bureau or bureaus are withdraw and any impact on my credit history is remedied.I would like Bobby Buka's office to properly bill me for any amounts that his office may consider due and send such bill directly to me at my correct address which his office has collected and verified multiple times.

Review: My 2 year olld son was seen by Dr. Buka's associate [redacted] on March *, 2014 at the Williamsburg site, [redacted]. I did not have my sons referral from PCP with me, however, I was told I could pay out of pocket and once I submitted my referral I would be reimbursed. My referral was sent the very next day. I was told they had the information and was waiting for metro plus to pay for the visit and in turn I would be reimbursed my $250.00 payment. I have made several calls to Dr. Buka's office and I was told they are awaiting a response from Metro Plus. I contacted Metro Plus who contacted Dr. Buka's office and a claim to Metro Plus was never submitted. Metro Plus spoke to the [redacted] at the Brooklyn Site and she stated she would resubmit. To date, metro plus does not have a claim from this doctors office. I went to the Brooklyn location on June [redacted] to speak with the [redacted] to ensure everything was taken care of, and if they needed anything from me. They had me sit for approximately 20 minutes, to say she would not be able to see me. I am not clear on the practice here. However, I would like to have this resolved. Its so unfair the the consumer. My son needed the dermatology visit has [redacted] and was very uncomfortable. I was lucky enough to have the copay handy and paid it, believing I would be reimburse accordingly. I have done everything I can to try and resolve the issues however, I cannot get a straight answer from the dermatologist office.Desired Settlement: I have complied with everything the dermatology office requested from me. I would just like to be reimbursed my copay as promised for my sons visit.
