In response to the complaint made by Mr. [redacted], we have reimbursed him the cost of the carpet to be cleaned by not...
charging him for the second service call. We cannot be sure if he unplugged sump or we did, but my technician says he did not. We offered to pay for the carpet to be cleaned in order to keep customer happy. We don't feel that we should pay him more than the cost of the carpet cleaning as don't know who was really at fault. In response to the issue with them having to deal with sewer remains, he stated that they only ran the washing machine. From our experience, there are no fecal remains or sewer remnants that would be discharged from the washing machine, only clear or soapy water is discharged. In closing, we have always gone out of our way to keep our customers happy. We felt that by not charging him for the second service call of [redacted] that we were being fair so he would have the funds to pay for the carpet cleaning.
