I visited this salon for a weave. I was sold hair that the owner advised me was fine, the packaging said 100% human hair. It was plastic. Then because of the poor quality I had to remove it. At first I had just asked her to re do it because of the poor quality, then after taking it out I saw what had been done to my hair. My scalp was in pain the day and following week I had gotten the weave in, and having had them done before I thought this was normal. But after having the braids and fake hair gently and professionally taken out they told me my scalp was missing hair and when I went home and checked and washed it I had handfuls of my hair fall out, parts of my scalp red and scanned from where it had been ripped out and was in tremendous pain. This was a week after receiving the service. Normally weaves can last up to 2 months. When I showed her (ther owner) pictures of my missing hair and red scanned scalp she blamed me and told me it was all my fault. Refused to take any fault and refused a refund.Product_Or_Service: Hair / installation Desired Settlement I would like a full refund for the service totalling 177.50$ And if possible the 100$ for the hair I purchased from her. Business Response First of all we know 4 years now. This wasn't the first time for me to do her hair. I did her hair many times and she never had scalp or bold spot. I have been doing extensions for 15 years , none of my clients came and said they had a bold spot or their hair were falling of. [redacted]. [redacted]. She sent me a picture of someone I don't know where she got it and wanted me to do her hair like that. I told her I did have hair like that but it was 20 inch , but the length on the picture was about 30 to 36 inches.I told how much that hair around $200 to $250 for 2 packs plus the installation which cost 150 + tax. Three days later she came at the store and I showed her the good qualities of hair but she decided to go for cheap one which $45 per packs. I explained to her she insisted that she only going to keep the hair for a month. [redacted]. That hair she bought people bought a lot only 2 packs left when she got it. No one came and complained ,people came and bought.I gave her choice and options she chose what she wanted because she wanted a cheap hair.On each of my receipt it says all hair are final sale ,same as wigs or hair pieces.[redacted]. I installed the hair , it didn't come out after 2 days or a week. Of course when you braid your hair no matter what you will have pain or headache but it will go away after a day or 2 days or itchiness. That pain or itchiness didn't stop people to come get their extensions or braids or dreadlock done over and over. There wasn't anything wrong that I did then I should refund the money. She chose the cheap hair. [redacted] I weaved the hair it didn't come out she took it after 3 weeks. I wasn't beside her to see how she was taking care of the hair. [redacted] After 3 weeks she sent me a message on [redacted] the hair was getting tangle and I told her I showed her the good qualities of the hair and she wanted a cheaper one. [redacted] . [redacted]. The she asked me if I could do her hair for free if she bring different hair from somewhere else. Because she was my friend I accepted after a day or 2 days she [redacted] me again that she wanted her money back [redacted]. [redacted] I told her there wasn't anything wrong I did to refund the money. [redacted] If she knew she was having pain common sense she should returned to me but she didn't. If that hair was really bad why she didn't go back to show to me how tangle it was, but she didn't. Why she didn't get her scalp check by a Dr? if she got her hair taken out by someone who didn't know what she was doing just imaging what going to happen? [redacted] When someone has hair ripped of it will take months or year for the hair to grow. That mean she still have the bold spot and red scanned scalp trying to heal. I want her to provide the medical record or statement that the Dr said I damaged her scalp. [redacted]
