This response is a complete lieThe only thing that is true is that I spoke with their employeeThe representative never told me any of thisI had the letter from the state and he explained to me that I could disregard that letter and they would take care of it on their endI asked him if I should bring him my title and he said “since I was almost an hour away we can take care of this and the state will sign the title over to us”I am not in the car towing business nor do I have any expertise in this so I trusted what I was being toldI was completely shocked when I went to renew my tags and was charged $for an abandoned car when I gave them the carThis was my daughters car and it was parked at my mothers houseIt was picked up by accident because the neighbor didn’t recognize the carIf I had just been told accurate information this could have been avoidedI offered to bring them the title but was told that I didn’t have to and he made it seem like he was doing me a favor and all I had to do is give them the title that I still haveI believe they should be held accountable for giving information and properly train their employees on this process or it seems to me that they are just telling people this to receive a free car that they can salvage leaving the consumer with the bill because they don’t know any betterThey should be held responsible for their actions

Our driver went out to the fuel station on 2/23/2016 to service Mrs. T[redacted]’s battery on her 2007 Lexus LS460.  From the time we received the call until driver arrival was less than 10 minutes. Upon his arrival our driver assessed the situation and fully tested the member’s battery and...

electrical system to make sure everything was working properly.  This initial testing of the system does take some time.  After this was completed the driver explained to the member their battery was bad and should be replaced.  Member agreed to purchase battery and driver began his installation.  During this installation a battery j-hook that is usually held on the vehicle by a plastic retainer fell down into the wheel well of the vehicle.  The driver then started to try to figure out how to get this bolt back.  Driver did state that he had a rough time in retrieving this bolt from the fender well and that some bystanders did help in the retrieval of it.  While this call did take 2 hours to complete the normal time for a battery service call is around an hour, so about an hour longer than a normal service call.  The customer paid their member price for the battery and went on their way.  The following day Guy spoke to the member, as we had heard that her service was not satisfactory for her and offered the member a $40.00 gift card for her time and troubles, and also advised her that this driver will be shown the correct way to handle the situation so if it arose again he would be more fit to take care of it.  The member told him that this amount was unacceptable and stated that she wanted a full refund for the battery installed in her vehicle and she wants to keep the new battery or she was going to contact the Revdex.com. Apache Sands tried to take care of the situation with what we had deemed fit for this member’s inconvenience as this member still retains the battery that was purchased.

We will have Guy contact you today to setup a time to come out and remove your battery and issue a refund. Once again we apologize for the inconvenience but cannot just give you a free battery because of a delay during installation.

I want a refund and I'm happy to return the battery. When "Guy" spoke to me, he said he was sending me a $40 gift card as an apology for the terrible service I received, and when I said I would prefer a refund, he said he would ALSO go back to his supervisors and call me back. I did NOT threaten him with contacting the Revdex.com on our phone call. When Guy neglected to follow up OR send a gift card, I wrote that I would be contacting Revdex.com. I have been inconvenienced enough, please come pick up the battery and issue me a full refund. You have wasted too much of my time already with inept auto service & with atrocious customer service. The "mechanic" lost the bolt into the engine compartment, the wheel had to be removed as well as the inside of the wheel well- he wanted me to just leave it in there and said it would be fine- also not secure my battery!

Mr. [redacted]'s vehicle was towed by police because it had been abandoned on a street for weeks. When he called he was told what the current charges were and how much they would increase each day. He stated he did not want the vehicle and wanted to just give us the title without paying. We explained...

we do not do this and he needed to pay his bill and pickup his vehicle.  We suggested he call salvage yards to see if they wanted it but our bill would still need to be paid. When he asked about additional fee we told him we don't charge extra fees like for collections. MVD mailed Mr. [redacted] a letter explaining what fees the State of Arizona would as if he abandoned his vehicle.

On the 7th of July our driver did cause damage to the door of Teri S[redacted] vehicle. At that time, we advised the customer that we would take care of the damage caused by us and get her vehicle back into the shape or better than we received it. We then advised her of the location that the vehicle...

would be taken to and that as soon as it was ready we would let her know which she was ok with. During this time, Apache Sands reached out to the customer three different times to advise her of what was going on with her vehicle the first time was the day of the incident, then on 7/11/2016, 7/22/2016 and 7/27/2016 which was the day her vehicle was completed. Due to the age of the vehicle it was harder for the body shop to find a door that was in good shape which is the reason for the delay in progress, but we felt like the time spent finding a good door would allow us to return her vehicle to her in better shape than which we had originally got the vehicle in. During this process we felt like we were keeping her informed as to what is going on. The customer was also provided with phone numbers for [redacted] as well as had our phone number so if she had a question she was welcome to reach out to us as well and we would answer any questions that she had.

To whom it may concern, I apologize for not getting this back to you I was off of work due to an injury. Here is our response. We received the complaint about a missing vaporizer from Athena [redacted] and completely deny that this item was taken out of her vehicle by one of our...

employees.  We take all complaints of theft extremely seriously. We have reviewed all surveillance video and GPS trackers from when the vehicle picked up from the collision scene and came into our towing yard. No employee ever entered this vehicle from the time it was dropped in the yard until the yard attendant went out and got the registration out of the vehicle for the customer.  Our employees must pass background checks prior their employment so Apache Sands can maintain a high quality of employees working on our behalf.  While Ms. [redacted] believes that her vaporizer was stolen while it was in our possession I can assure that it was not.   Thank You, Brian F[redacted]General ManagerApache Sands[redacted]
