I noticed Bobby's Transmission sign as I passed by on the way to another transmission shop, which ultimately was not willing to work on my 1983 280zx manual transmission.
When I stopped back by Bobby's I was met with a friendly and helpful attendant as I entered the shop and was directed, presumably, to the owner to assess my transmission restoration need.
I was provided with a knowledgeable and fair repair quote and felt confident enough to leave my transmission for repair and will return with the car for installation.
The problem was that they could not repair the transmission , nor would they refund my money. I took my Mazada 2002 to Bobby Transmission for a total rebuild. From day one , I had nothing but problems. Slow shifting,sllipping, and not working properly. They told me to take it to another shop that had diagnostics equipement, but yet they refused to refund my money. They will not stand by there warranty and I would not recommend taking your vehicle to this shop for any type work. If you know whats good for your car or truck, roll on, or push it past Bobby's Transmission.
