We paid for warranty on our Washer and Dryer. My Dryer quit working.BOB's Appliances came out to work on my dryer. After4 wks I still dont have DryerI need my dryer. I hate the fact that I have been without my dryer. Please help get this resolved. I have been without my dryer for over 4 weeks now.I paid on my warranty on time. However, Bob's appliance has been monking around long enough. I can understand if I didnt pay on time. But that is not the case.Desired SettlementI NEED MY DRYER IMMEDIATELY!!! THANKS. [redacted]Business Response First of all we received this work order on 6/16/2014 and responded on 6/18/2014. This complaint was submitted on 7/2/2014 and that is two weeks or 14 days which is not a month. The [redacted] bought an extended warranty for which we do service. We are required to submit an estimate before repairing which we did. The estimate was approved on 6/25 and we aquired the parts and returned on 6/26 repaired and departed. The customer came in our office on 6/27 (Friday) and angrily stated the dryer had stopped again we dispatched back out on 6/27 and I assisted the tech on the phone and it was determined that another part was bad also. We reordered the part that day and it is on a [redacted] backorder and could be from 7-21 days to receive the part. We have worked within the framework that is required when a service policy is involved. Our only fault is that instead of one part being bad there were two parts bad. Should the customer feel like we are not being honest about the backorder they can call [redacted] @ X-XXX-XXX-XXXX and check and see if part # XXXXXXXX is on order.

A service tech for Bobs Appliance, [redacted] M.entered my home on 12/02/15 at 12:15 p.m. to fix my dryer which he tested as needing a heater element and a cut off kit and service call totaled up to $206.02.After he installed both and turned on the dryer there was heat coming from it that was lukewarm so I assumed the issue was solved, played him and went around to the side of my house to see he had torn my dryer cover vent off the side of my house exposing the hole in mid air so I asked him to cover it back up as it was.The hole had been widened. After he put that back and left I went in to check the dryer and it was still lukewarm,so I put something in to see if it would dry and I noticed my dryer kept going when I opened the door.It never did this before he worked on it.I had to turn the dial to make it stop.So I called his phone to question it about it and he said I needed that Part for $20 something dollars more in which I refused because I know it had not had that problem before he worked on it.Said he hadn't left my area yet and he would call back if he has that part in his truck, hadn't heard from him in an hour so I called the store to report the issue.Girl that answered said owner [redacted] was in a meeting and will find out from service guy what happened and get him to call me.So when [redacted] calls he basically calls me a liar and refused to come back and fix the issue and said he'd let [redacted] handle it or send someone else out.He was very rude to me.I don't have $200 bucks to throw away for a service I trusted to fix my appliance without any hassle.I'm a new customer. Up until this day no one has checked back in with me to resolve the issue or refund me for those parts that didn't work.I feel like I was conned out of my money and treated poorly.I need the issue handled or my money for the parts refunded.","neg-1

The owner of this company was excessively ugly and contentious when I asked for a refund for a part I purchased in good faith. I purchased a part for my front-load washer from Bob's Appliances over the phone. The woman on the phone NEVER ONCE told me that there was a no-refund policy during the time I was on the phone with her making the purchase. When I called to return the part because I decided I did not want to spend the money for installation, the lady on the phone told me there was no refund. I asked her to have the owner call me, [redacted]. He called me and brusquely told me there were no refunds. I then explained to him that I was NEVER TOLD THIS on the phone when I made the purchase. He then scoffingly rebuked me for not wanting to spend the money on the installation of the part I had ordered. I told him it was my business to make that decision. He then rudely repeated his refusal to issue me a refund. I then terminated the call. [redacted] then called back and sneeringly stated, "[redacted]", at which time I interrupted him and said "Good day" and terminated the call.Desired SettlementSince the part is still in its original and UNOPENED package, I desired a refund. There is no reason why [redacted] cannot take the part back. It was HIS BUSINESS'S FAULT that I was never told there were no refunds. I would have NEVER purchased the item had I been told that! I am SHOCKED that [redacted] spoke like that to me in the first place, and that he had the NERVE to CALL ME AND INSULT ME IN THE PRIVACY OF MY OWN HOME. Where is the whole notion of customer service????Business Response There is a smidgen of truth here but there seems that this customer has his FACTS wrong. Mr. [redacted] called us and ordered the part by phone as he stated an our lady that took the order informed him that there are NO returns on any parts. He is called and informed when the part comes in and he comes and picks up the part. There is a 12"X 12" sign clearly stating no returns on parts on the wall behind the counter for the customer to see. Also he gets his receipt with "No return on Parts" on his paper receipt which has his credit card receipt stapled to it. Mr. [redacted] tries to force his opinion on you while talking to him and when this fails he turns childish and hangs up. I tried to call him back twice and he hung up on me both times. On the last call I was trying to tell him it takes a small person to hang up and not finishing a discussion. Sir, you lost any chance at any other way of resolving this by your phone tactics. You also stated you would try to ruin my business by any way you can. Walk and talk carefully sir. The comments made in anger can ruin your finiancal future. I stand by our company policy of no return on parts and that is my final comment on this subject.[redacted]
