I got called out to her house on Labor Day. She told me at the time on the phone that they were having cooling problems, indicating it was probably Freon. She said she thought this because we've needed this in the past. I told her our rates...

were more expensive because it is a holiday and they said okay, and instructed me to come out. I came out and they had the system turned off which I instructed them to do. I told them to turn it back on and I would install my Freon gages and install the Freon. I told them it was anywhere from 2-3 lbs low. It ended up being right around 3 lbs and that wasn't a problem with them. They said they were hoping to get through the season on just the Freon charge. I gave them my bill and they said they'd call me back in the spring for pricing on a new system. At the time, they said nothing about me not taking credit cards. They paid by check: overtime fee and Freon charge. 9/7 was the last I heard. They called again on 9/14 and I didn't take the call. We sent a different guy there that time. I instructed him what I did and told them if that's the issue again, they would most likely need new equipment. They said there was no sense in putting anymore Freon in because it barely lasted last time. I instructed him to not put anymore Freon in, because it would be wasting it and could be a health hazard. They were not happy with this response. After this, they called a different employee here, who will call the Revdex.com with what they discussed.
