Bob's Roofing had closed its doors in November 2016. I had not spoken with Mr. [redacted] prior to this date. I would like to explain that Mr. [redacted] had problems after the area had received over 12 inches of rain, but there are other issues at play besides the rain that factor in this situation. 1) The patio was originally built incorrectly and does not have proper drainage which during a heavy rain will cause reverse flow towards the front door. 2) At the time the repair was done it was explained to Mr. [redacted] that the shingle roof on the home needed to be replaced (he explained at the time about his financial constraints as also stated in your letter). Due to the amount of rain we are having the shingles above are oversaturated and this leak is above our repair. Unfortunately, as I stated Bob's Roofing is no longer in business and therefore there is no warranty. Also, a refund cannot be expected as the leak is above the repair that we had done and the patio was not built correctly (most likely not permitted either). Thank you,Robert
