I'm writing in response to [redacted] transmission was rebuilt on FEB 26, 2015, with mileage of 107,622. Her currant mileage is 111,481, she has put 3,859 miles on vehicle. She returned with the 2002 CHEVY VENTURE stating van not shifting correctly. She did not notify us of any problem...

until this time June 8. 2015 and we found fine metal shavings in pan that was sticking to the valve in transmission. We then removed transmission and found faulty torque converter. The transmission was totally rebuilt and replaced torque converter at no charge to [redacted] She picked up vehicle after our normal operating hours and returned it, called in next morning and stated van is overheating and engine noise. She stated temperature gauge went up one (1) mark past half, that is not overheating. Engine was making knocking noise. We did not do ANY engine work to van. We checked antifreeze and it was full. Van has no exhaust just pipe off motor which is extremely loud, which is the way she has been running van. Also noticed a partial quart of molar oil on laying on passenger floor board. Motor does have a loud knocking noise which is an internal motor problem. Sincerely, [redacted]
