Bob's Transmission

Mrs. [redacted] contacted Bob's Transmission about getting her transmission repaired and stated that the vehicle would not shift properly. The Manager [redacted] told Mrs. [redacted]  that we could tow the vehicle in at no cost as long as she had the car repaired and if she decided not to get the repair done...

that she would be responsible for the $50.00 tow. She agreed to get the vehicle towed in for us to take a look at it. Once the vehicle arrived [redacted]'s Technician determined that the transmission cooler lines were leaking so he tightened the lines up and filled the transmission to its proper level and drove the vehicle and found that the transmission was damaged due to the vehicle being driven with low transmission fluid. [redacted] contacted Mrs. [redacted] to let her know that the lines were left loose. [redacted] also noticed that a new radiator had been recently installed so he asked Mrs. [redacted] how long as the new radiator been installed and she replied that a friend from church installed it so [redacted] let her know the lines were left loose. [redacted] then informed Mrs. [redacted] that the transmission would have to be removed to determined the extent of damage and the complete labor charge would be $798.00 plus parts. Mrs. [redacted] stated to go ahead and pull the transmission because her son needed his car back to go to work. Once the transmission was disassembled and determined what parts were needed [redacted] contacted Mrs. [redacted] and explained to her what parts were needed. [redacted] then told Mrs. [redacted] the price to repair the transmission would be 1296.12 plus tax which also includes the labor of $798.00. Mrs. [redacted] was ok with the repair but she stated to [redacted] that she didn't have the funds that's when [redacted] recommended a finance company. [redacted] then filled out an application with Mrs. [redacted] giving him all of her personal information. [redacted] faxed the application to the finance company to see if she could get approved. Once Mrs. [redacted] realized that she couldn't get financed by herself the finance company asked her if she is willing to add her husband to the application and she said her husband doesn't know she is trying to get the car fixed. Once her husband found out,she got angry and stated that [redacted] was not truthful but Mrs. [redacted] was aware of what was going on from the beginning. Bobs Transmission strives for excellent customer satisfaction with that being said Mrs. [redacted] still has a check engine light on in the Kia that was repaired so [redacted] has informed Mrs. [redacted] and her husband that if they purchased the O2 sensor that Bobs Transmission would install the sensor for FREE!!!
