I am rejecting this response because:I have come to realize that in the past I have always worked with professionals and I'm used to a much more professional environment it is not worth my time to argue with somebody who always feels he is right and everyone else is wrong I do know that people that I work with through Fairview and their nutrition program have a seven year college degree to be a dietitian and I feel that they are much more qualified when it comes to talking about what to eat and what not to eat Being Gabe was the person that was instructing the class you would've thought that he would've reached out to me privately if he knew I was having a problem with the way he was teaching instead of deleting me so there was no communication and kicking me out of class I'm OK with all of it because I know that I don't want to really associate with people that are that negative I do find it interesting that some of the people that have attacked me on their writing that I seem to have a problem there was only one exercise I could not do and I have never had a knee replacement I had an Achilles tendon tear so right there shows you there just shooting off their mouth before they know what they're talking about I know that I'm not the only one that felt that way being weight watchers will not let him back into their classroom I wish them luck and hope from this he can learn to communicate better with the people that do end up hiring him.I do know there are better trainers out there I have used This is simply my opinion and review of the service I received

To Whom it May Concern, I removed [redacted] from the closed Facebook group and challenge due to her negativity, insults and slandering my business for all of the other challengers to see.  Had she reached out to me directly to express concerns and dissatisfaction, we would be in a...

different place than we currently are. This all boils down to communication on her part.  I did not even know [redacted] had a problem with me. She also never once indicated to me that she didn’t want to participate in the challenge for prizes but wanted the class experience and Facebook group support.   The lunge with a jump that [redacted] specifically mentions took place in our very first class.  In that class, I laid down some ground rules and I said “I know there are some people in this class with different physical limitations that I will modify. Before you raise your hand to tell me that you cannot do a specific workout, try it first and I will modify if you are experiencing any pain.” (See exhibit H) These are 4 individuals’ testimonies who were in the 2 classes that [redacted] attended. This again provides more facts of what truly took place in my classes. I also said “Your body is capable of doing amazing things if you simply just try.” [redacted] immediately raised her hand to tell me that she wasn’t going to try it and her doctor told her not to jump. I immediately modified the exercise for her and 30 seconds later, I came back to check in with her to see how she was feeling.  She stated she was doing fine. Anytime Fitness has 24 hour surveillance camera.  Although it will require some work to get copies of the 2 classes she claims I mistreated her, I can provide that footage which will tell a much different story than what [redacted] is claiming.   Both classes that she attended required most of my attention directed to her to do modifications. Even though it slowed down the rhythm of the class, I still attended to her.  This is why I knew she belonged in the beginner class. The fact that [redacted] points out that she has had many trainers in the past should already speak volumes of what she is like to work with. How many trainers does one person have to go through and at what point does one look at themselves in the mirror and take accountability for their own actions instead of pointing the finger at the individual trying to help her?   My approach in my challenges is to appear personable with the people in our group. I do this by talking and shooting videos into my everyday life. I show people that I am also human and life throws obstacles at me and I don’t allow those to become excuses. I show how I overcome those as well so I shoot videos as time permits in my busy schedule.  I shoot videos in my office, on the treadmill, in my house, and with my kids.  I even shot a video once while riding a bike when my car ran out of gas in -6 degree temperatures. The videos I shoot in my car, my phone sits on a stand while I’m driving with both hands on the wheel, not ranting but providing updated information, giving tips, and inspiration.   As far as [redacted]’s comment on eating vegetables and lean meats for 4 days is incorrect. I never advised anyone to do that. I also did not say that “you would lose 6 pounds”. What I did say is, “Try eating protein and vegetables for 3 days. I’ve seen some people lose 3-6 pounds on average when they try this.” If I need to provide that video of what I stated, I can do that as well. There are thousands of diets out there in the world for people to use. [redacted]’s comment about having her Fairview nutritionist appalled by what I said is simply someone’s opinion. My nutritional advice is not the only way and neither is Fairview’s. One diet that is well known by most people is the Paleo diet. There are millions of people doing it including world class athletes.  This diet consists of eating protein, fish, nuts, regional vegetables and seeds for long periods of time, sometimes up to a month.  I ask people to try protein and vegetables only for 3 days which again was not a requirement. [redacted] is accusing me of doing something that could hurt people which is simply not true.   I teamed up with Weight Watchers because the nutritional guidelines they have to go with their program is similar to my nutritional tips with a couple of additional tweaks. There isn’t anything that is extreme and unheard of that I ask people to try. Again, no one is required to do anything that they don’t want to.  It was simply a nutritional tip to try and help kick your metabolism into another gear for continued success.   Regarding my qualifications to give nutritional advice, the ISSA states that I’m legally able to provide nutritional counseling and weight management (see exhibit I).  I’m not sure who [redacted] spoke to but ISSA wouldn’t even provide [redacted] with my personal credentials just because I was certified through them for personal training.  There are laws that prevent companies from providing personal information such as this. But to add more information to show that I am qualified to provide nutritional counseling, I am also a certified massage therapist where my schooling required me to take nutrition class. I also have an Associate’s Degree which I attended multiple universities and have taken more nutritional health and wellness classes as well. I will not provide the names of these institutions due to the lengths that [redacted] has taken to assassinate my character.   I understand that I am not a perfect trainer.  No one is. I know I am never going to be able to make everyone in my challenges happy.  After all, I am encouraging people to change their bad habits into a healthier lifestyle and that can ruffle a few feathers. This all boils down to is an individual willing to change their routine and their excuses or are they willing to try something different which could help them in the long run. It’s easy to point the finger at me when one doesn’t want to abide by my rules in my challenge that I have orchestrated. It appears I have done everything wrong in [redacted]’s eyes. Well, the hundreds of people that I have helped lose over 1,000 pounds each year do not feel the same as [redacted] does. I show more compassion than most trainers.  I’ve actually been told this from many clients. I go out of my way to help anyone who needs it whether they pay me or not.   As I have proven over and over again by stating facts, [redacted] continues to provide false statements. This is a waste of time for everyone involved in this complaint, including [redacted]. I am not going to continue responding to these silly, false accusations and I will not be issuing a refund.  I have many other people who need and want my help and my time will be focused on these individuals. My body of work speaks for itself and 2 individuals will not change that.   Exhibit H            Exhibit I https://www.issaonline.edu/faq/
