Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The business was aware and encouraged me to used it beyond the expiration date The business was not able to fill my repeated requests for appointments as they did not have enough staffI told them it was an expired certificate when I made the appointment There was never an issue until this man got involved I had been a regular customer for years before I moved away And they had never had an issue honoring expired gift certificates I often would save up several for larger services The appointment was made with the understanding I was using an expired gift certificates I drove two hours thereChecked in and was then informed they did not intend to honor it Could have been honest and informed me of policy change Instead tried to bait and switch When I received the card I called them immediately and spoke to the owner I do not live near you I can not use this Can I exchange it or turn it into gift cards for other people I was told no and that they would honor it the next time I was able to get in That was the next time I could get an appointment in the two years I had the card I have emails with numerous attempts to get an appointment They had no open slots They had no technicians on staff They had a lot of excuses but could never seem to be able to honor this gift card FineThen return the money to the purchaser Mr Dawson first and only contact with me was the day of my appointment He seems to be overriding everyone else who works there and offers no intent to make good He lied over and over again to me I asked him to please stopHe is embarrassing himself Even his employees stepped in to ask him to stopI don't want anything but the purchaser refunded I want no goods or services from this place I do not trust them to provide fair or safe practices on myself or any friend I might want to gift It is clearly not a professional establishment any longer Regards, [redacted] ***

The Gift Certificate was purchased December 23, 2015, with an expiration date of December 2016The client had booked a service, the first week in December and brought the Certificate with her to use forpaymentThe Spa Attendant noticed that it was one year past its expiration date, in this case the client had inher possession for two yearsIt was politely refused at the front desk because it had expired a year ago.I have attached the New York State Law regarding Gift CertificatesIt states that it must be used on or beforethe expiration date specified.We are open seven days a week, Monday·- Saturday, 9-7p.mand Sunday, 9-2p.mIt is our standard practice toinform all clients that appointment for a particular day and time, must be booked well in advance.Attached, in addition to the NYS Law, also two emails from customer regarding scheduling of appointments,they have been redacted.Please call with any questionsRegards,David [redacted] , CEOBody Relief Spa
