I did a photoshoot with Jessica at Bodyscape Boudoir and LOVED it. She was very easy to work with and all of the information she gives you before hand is very helpful. I got the Heirloom Album and think she is well worth every penny.
I had a photo shoot with this professional and her business that was all paid for in advanced and at the revel of the photo's she asked for a 600$ down if we wanted products and when I decided what products I wanted the 600$ would go towards the total cost of the products. At the time of the reveal nothing was said about this not being refundable. After discussing with my Significant other we decided the shoot was fun and did not want any further products and I asked *** for a refund. She then replied saying that this is not a part of the contact and I would not be able to get any of my money back. I asked for a copy of the contract that she says I had signed and she sent me a 4 page long document I had never seen before. I know I did not sign any contract, I also know the only thing I did agree to with her was that if the photo shoot were to be canceled the money paid down for that would not be refunded and that I agreed to in an email. However, the 4 page long document she refers to as my contract says that even if no products are orders we would still have to pay $1,500 to her, for what I do not know. She also stated that I have 6 months from the revel to buy products or she will charge the $1,500. Now I must say I had a great time during the photo shoot and she was very professional, However, trying to come to any kind of agreement about her products, has been very complicated. What concerns me more than anything is that this 4 page contract she refers to as her own comes from a business in California and states that if manners are not resolved between parties then it will be taken to the ***, and she has been the one unwilling to come to any agreement. We are sorry that you are not satisfied with your experience with our company. Last that we spoke with you, you had agreed to transfer your $600 to your friends balance and we were waiting to hear back for when you both wanted to come back to the studio for her to order her products. This was stated in the messages that you both sent to our company that we have saved. You also mentioned that you had paid in full before the photoshoot, however you paid the session fee, which was separate from any product costs. Also, the contract that you requested that I email to you is the contract that everyone signs when they book a photoshoot with our company. The copy sent to you is the contract that you signed and it also showed at the bottom where you electronically signed that you agreed to the terms of the contract. In that it states that all monies are non-refundable and that it is required to put down at least $600 at the ordering appointment. All products start at $1,500 as was stated in the contract and in person, however you wrote to us that you wanted to not move forward with purchasing products and wanted to transfer your money to your friends printed products instead. That is what the $1,500 is, the minimum that products start at. As listed in your contract, you have up to six months to complete a payment plan, however we do not automatically charge anything after that. That time period is for those who want to pay off their products in a spaced out manner. This was also listed in the product menu that you were sent before coming to your ordering appointment. As far at the part listed at the bottom, our company works with many professionals and had a contract made for us. Unfortunately there was a part in there that mentioned California and was a mistake that has since been corrected. We also do not have the contract listed on the website because it is shown when clients are ready to move forward with booking, as to not confused them. We appreciate your feedback.
