Services not rendered with money paidI paid $100.00 for my 2009 Kia Rio to be buffed of noticable scratches from the passenger side door to the rear quarter panel on the passenger side. After buffing, there were still a noticeable number of scratches near the passenger side rear. After showing the manager, Mr. [redacted], he refused to correct the problem. Instead, I received a harassing voicemail on my personal phone with verbal threats from said manager, which I retained as well as pictures of the work performed on my car. I would like to receive half of the money paid as a partial refund for work not performed.Desired SettlementI expect a partial refund for services not rendered.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted]- ownerContact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXXContact Email: [redacted]@yahoo.comIn response to Mr. [redacted] complaint I'd like to first give the facts on how we came to do the work in question. Mr. [redacted] received an insurance check for repairs on the passenger side rear door for his vehicle. He came to us and asked if the scratches on his door could be buffed out to which we replied that we were unsure. He did not want to pay for a full repair so I told him in no uncertain terms that we would spend one hour buffing for 100.00 and it would look better, but to do the job correctly he would need to leave the vehicle for a few days and we would receive the insurance check. Which I believe was over 600.00. He agreed to these terms initially but after we were done he wanted us to spend more time on the vehicle. Which we agreed to do but not for free. He refused the offer, paid the 100 dollars and left. The "threatening" phone call he refers to was very non-threatening. After receiving notification from yelp and google reviews that he had posted accusing us of doing "terrible" work as he put it. I simply called him back and suggested that he come and speak to me in person rather that posting these comments online. No threat was made, just thought we could settle this disagreement face to face. So to sum things up he was given a specific price for a very specific task which we did exactly as we explained it to him.

Called BodyWerx on 1-19-2016, spoke with a sales rep concerning the problem I had on my 2000 Honda Accord, that it was leaking water on the driver side front and back each time it rains. He said I could bring it in first thing so they could take it in the back see what the problem was. I did so the next day on 1-20-2016. Rep called Wednesday pm said it was ready, they fixed the leak, it was the drain from the sunroof. Well, it rained that following day, had the same problem, called left them a message explaining that it had not been fixed. Following day, I got home from work, noticed the piece on the driver side door was split. Called, asked them, was they going to tell me or see if I wasn't going to notice it? And I wanted to be compensated. Told me to bring it by, I did, and they acted as if they knew nothing. So, he goes we kept the check will give it back to you. Today, 2-2-2016 went by spoke with the owner [redacted]. He bluntly lied, that he "never" guaranteed it was fixable, they'd spent 3 hours trying to find the problem and his guys didn't do it. He gave me the check and said, we were even, he wasn't replacing the part. They never gave me a receipt explaining the problem was found and fixed, just kept saying we still have your check, come pick it up. Meatime, I had to end up taking my Honda to Toyota here in Wilson for them to repair. He told and billed me with the same issue [redacted] said his guys did. Paid them $82.00. Have a receipt to prove they worked/fixed my problem on 2-1-2016. Went by today 2-2-2016 and [redacted] tried and lied about his part, he knowing they didn't repair and cracked the part on my driver left side... stated it was an even change, he wasn't compensating me as if I was there lying about the part they cracked. Told me to get out his business and "never" come back, told him I'd handle this. To resolve this, I feel he needs to be responsible when his workers destruct customers vehicles. Next step is to try small claims court..have pictures and witnesses as well.Desired SettlementAs previously stated, [redacted] needs to replace the part his workers split on my driver side they didn't have the decency to come forth with. He never fixed my leak and insisted he wasn't replacing the part the broke.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted] OwnerContact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXXContact Email: [redacted]@yahoo.comIn response to Mr. [redacted] complaint I would like to start by saying that upon first inspection of his vehicle it was obvious that someone had tried to apply silicone to the windshield and back glass prior to bringing his vehicle to me. We spent 3 hours finding his leak which we attributed to a clog in the drain for his sunroof. We cleared the drain out and called Mr. [redacted] to let him know his vehicle was ready. He wrote us a check for 50.00 and took his vehicle, there was no complaint about anything being broken when he collected his vehicle. He called a day later and informed us that the vehicle was still leaking and that a panel had been cracked. I told him I would be happy to look at the vehicle again and if we did indeed damage something we would replace it. Over the phone he was agreeable and said he would leave the car with us to re-check the sunroof and show us what was damaged. He then returned on a different vehicle and claimed that another shop had fixed the same problem we worked on. He refused to show us any proof that the vehicle had been worked on elsewhere. We had agreed not to cash his check until we had an opportunity to correct the problem which we never had a chance to do. He was not interested in letting us see the vehicle to correct the problem, he just wanted "compensation". Finally I would like to say that we did not damaged any part of his vehicle. We repair cars, we don't break them. And in 15 years of business we have never received a complaint with Revdex.com. We refunded him his 50.00 check and asked him to leave.
