Our company, [redacted] has had our fair share of calls to various HVAC companies. Having to manage over 80 rental properties, and balancing our Real Estate and remodeling company sometimes takes a toll on us. It wasn't until we hired Boer Brothers that we thought a lot of our weight was lifted. Due to the extreme heat we've been experiencing, many of our rental units HVAC systems would go out. With each HVAC unit broken we would call a different HVAC company every time because we felt like we weren't getting what we paid for from the predecessor companies. This isn't until we talked to [redacted] from boer brothers. Not only has he been able to give us an HONEST and TRUTHFUL opinion on our units but him and everyone at boer brothers hold the upmost respect, integrity, and honesty one would want from any kind of contractor.

Not only was Boer Brothers able to assist us in our HVAC issues but he was able to help assist our friends at [redacted] in Cameron Village.

Routine maintenance service on air condition unit result to water damage. The company sent a painter to cover water rings from the condesation.On Friday July 25th, [redacted] came out and did the service work. He told me there were No issues with my unit but the only thing that need cleaning was the outside unit (He flushed with water). Everything seems to be working fine. I paid him, he left.On the following Tuesday July 29th,at night, I notice the 3rd floor got warm, so I got up and adjusted the thermostat (75 degrees) so it would get cool. I usually keep it on 77 degrees. I went back to bed, woke up and notice it did not cool off the 3rd floor. So, I thought something is wrong. The setting on the thermostat is not working (temperature stayed the same-77 degrees). I called Boar Brothers on Friday to make an appointment for someone to come back out to check the unit. The Receptionist said [redacted] was on vacation, he will be back on Monday, so we made an appointment for the Friday Aug, 8th. Saturday Aug 2nd, I heard water, like something was leaking. Late Saturday night/Sunday morning, I saw the ceiling leaking in the bathroom on the 3rd floor. The air conditioning/heating unit is located in the attic above that bathroom. So, I called Boar Brothers on Sunday morning to make an appointment for Monday Aug 4th. I think I talked to [redacted] and told him what was happening. That same morning, I turned the thermostat off upstairs on the 3rd floor, the dripping stopped. On Monday morning around 7:00am,I turned the thermostat back on and the condensation started to come back.On Monday, After [redacted] re-exam what was going on, he stated that sometimes the attic can get hot that the drain pipe can cause it to freeze and cause the pipe to drain water, which -"too me" did not sound right. I asked him to repeat what he said again. He then said "he may have turn off the switch"-referring to the unit in the attic above the 3rd floor. He said he would use some installation on the pipe to stop it from leaking. I paid him for the materials.My main concern, I do not know how much water drain through the ceiling and do not want to have a "mold" issue later down the road. I think it needs to be check, plus I have water circles in the ceiling now that was not there before. The company sent a Painter out to check the water damage.He claim he cannot find none. I have a an area on my ceiling to date that you can see the condensation. I communicated this to Boer Brothers via phone and email. They are ignoring me now. All I need is a receipt to see what what actually done. I have requested a receipt 4 times. I have yet to receive one. I will now have to get someone to go up in the attic to check for mold.Desired SettlementIf there is mold found in my attic Boer Brothers should be responsible for the cost.Final Consumer Response /[redacted]/This issue has been Resolved. Boer Brothers Heating and Cooling LLC contracted someone to come out to check for water damage in the attic. The Contractors say there was no evidence of water damage or mold growing which made me feel much better. Boer Brothers went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the outcome of this service. I'm not sure what happened with the communication before. I am really please with the work and professionalism of their employees. I will definitely use them in the future.
