I had an awful experience with this company I was contacted with an offer for my vehicle as a trade for a newer version of my car This was a loyalty offer for being a Chevy owner and for previously purchasing a vehicle with them I was told the deal was still valid and I had even asked if they could beat the price of another dealership on the car I wanted The salesman agreed that they would beat it out the door So, I'm thinking this is a deal I can't refuse and this will be an easy purchase, plus I had my own financing I get to the dealership for my appointment and the salesman I had been working with wasn't there They acted like they had no way of getting in touch with her I forwarded them our email exchange and the manager Justin would not honor it They didn't even have the car I was looking for on the lot It was the worse experience I have ever had They tried to lowball me on my trade when they got my information from their records Pretending as if they had no previous knowledge of my car when they had done service work and recall work on it...recently They also tried to hit me with double jeopardy because my car had some scratches I said isn't that already included in the KBB trade offer Those scratches are what makes the car condition go from excellent to good How can you double ding someone for that? Then they tried to use the mileage as an excuse I said don't you have to enter the mileage on KBB.com to get the value of the car? It was horrible My car in 200mile radius for the same make, model, and mileage sells from $to $10K These guys are horrible and they do not value their customer nor loyaltyThankfully the year is young and there are several other Chevrolet dealerships looking to do good business

Edwards Chevrolet has been unresponsive to me and to the Revdex.com regarding their admission to selling me a car with frame damage when someone there knew of itThey had a moral and ethical responsibility to disclose this

Ms*** had vehicle pulled into Parkway Ford at *** *** *** on Friday March 20th by a small pitruck and
a tow strap
Mr*** had spoken to her two or three weeks earlier and
she expressed concerns of
people taking advantage of females when it comes to
automobilesShe also stated that she had already had two engines replaced and
was told by other people the vehicle needed various other parts replacedMr
*** told Ms*** there would be no initial diagnostic charge for looking
at the vehicle, and that she would be notified with an estimate before any
repairs were made
After the vehicle was pushed into the shop, the technician
started the diagnostic procedure and found the battery to be dead, positive
cable end broken and looseThe battery was charged and tested, and technician
was able to get the vehicle to start and runCharging system test were ran and
no faults foundComputer diagnostics were then carried out with no indications
of faultsAt this point technician advised Mr*** that the vehicle needed a
battery cable end replaced, battery cables cleaned at battery and starter and
the battery chargedMr*** called Ms*** and advised her of the
diagnoses and the estimated charges of $Ms*** was elated that the
vehicle could be repaired at that price, she readily gave Mr***
authorization to complete the repairsTechnician finished repairs and Ms
*** picked up vehicle around 5:30pm March 20thMs*** had
no questions at the time of pick-up
Ms*** called in on Saturday and spoke with Mr***
and said vehicle was doing fine but she questioned the chargesShe stated she
felt like she had been taken advantage ofMr*** explained the charges to
her again and then her husband got on the phone and asked why Mr*** told her
that the battery had been replaced when it had notMr*** explained the
charges to him alsoMs*** took the phone back and said thank you and
hung up
The work order for this repair has been examined and
supports that Ms*** was advised of and approved estimated charges before
any repairs were performedIn review of industry standards this repair would
be at a charge of $which is $more expensive than Parkway charged
Ms***Mr*** states at no time did he tell Ms*** that the
battery had been replacedHe stated to her that the “battery cable end” needed
replacing
On March 26, Service Manager Mr*** *** called
Ms*** and asked if he could help assist with her complaintMs***
proceeded to explain her complaint and as soon as Mr*** started to talk
Ms*** stated she was standing by her complaint and hung the phone upMr
*** did not get a chance to ask or offer any type of resolution to the
issue
In closing, the charges are for more than just replacing the
$partThere is time involved in charging the battery, cleaning the
cables, verifying the starting, charging and computer systems were operating
properlyMs*** was fully advised of charges and authorized repairs
It is Parkway Ford’s opinion that Ms*** is not due any
refund

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved]Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: MR*** CALLED ME ON MARCH 20, AND STATED THAT HE HAD REPLACED THE BATTERY, WHICH WHEN MY HUSBAND CHECKED AND SAID THAT THE BATTERY WAS THE SAME ONE THAT WE PREVIOUSLY HAD. MY INVOICE
STATED THAT A BATTERY WIRE HAD BEEN REPLACED IN THE AMOUNT OF I FEEL AS THOUGH I WAS TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF, I WAS LIED TO BY MR*** STATING THAT HE HAD REPLACED THE BATTERY, AND THE CHARGE IS EXTRMELY EXCESSIVE, I FEEL AS
THOUGH I AM DUE A REFUNDTHE ONLY CHARGE THAT SHOULD BE APPLIED FOR A FIVE DOLLAR PART SHOULD BE NO MORE THAN 50.00!! Regards,*** ***
