To Whom It May Concern,We were called to service a Samsung Front Load Washer for a leak problemOur service technician and a friend (witness) that is not an employee went on the service callUpon arrival the technician checked the washer and found that the tub was cracked and the customer decided
not to repair the washerThe technician asked if he wanted the water turned offThe customer who was right there with our technician said he would like the water turned offAt this request our technician asked his helper for a pair of pliers and he easily turned the valve with no excessive force and turned off both hot and cold water valvesThe home owner at this point was satisfied and wrote a check for the service call and trip charge. We received a call after a few days from Mr*** and he said that when he was trying to connect his new washer that the handle on the hot water valve broke off and that is was our faultI told him that I would contact my technician first to ask what was done at this jobBefore I could talk to my technician, Mr*** called back and stated that he had made a bigger mess of this and wanted us to send a plumber to fix this problemI told him he shouldn't have started working on it until I could find out what my technician didI told him I didn't believe that we were responsible for his broken valveAt this point Mr*** told me he would just stop payment on the check for the service call that we did and would send us the plumbing billI stated that he was the last one to turn the valve on and that we were not responsible for his problemHe did in fact stop payment and we did not receive funds for our service.Sincerely,*** *** Boerner's Appliance, LLCWMarlandHobbs, NM
