The problem with above mentioned well is that it was drilled back in the seventies. The well casing that was used was made in Japan or...
Korea. It was very poor grade steel. In a lot of those wells, the water level has gone down so that pump has been lowered to the bottom to try and to get as much water as possible. At the same time the casing has rotted out and has covered the pump.motor. Case in point the water level in said well is 287 ft. The bottom of the well is 293.
We offered to camera the well tomorrow. There are water hauling companies in Ridgecrest that can fill their storage tanks. There is nothing we can do when the pump is stuck except to fish it out,hopefully.that is why we want to camera the well.
