We got engaged on November 13th, When my boyfriend purchased the ring from [redacted] he told her my finger was a size and the ring he picked out was a He was not informed from the salesperson that the ring would not be able to be sized ( [redacted] ) The ring was way too big for me so we brought it in to the Avalon Mall location Bogart's on November 15th to get the ring sized They told us that they would send it on to the jeweler but it would be a couple of weeks before I got my ring back but the jeweler was at the Aberdeen Drive location and that I could bring it there myself to get it there faster So I did On November 16th, I was told that the jeweler would not size my ring due to the fact that it would compromise the integrity of the ring When I spoke to the Manager, [redacted] , at the Avalon Mall location, she told me that they would have to order my size ring in and that she would put a rush on it but that it would take 4-weeks but I could wear the original ring in the meantime (she suggested a ring guard to make it fit) On December 14th, I was at the Mall and stopped into Bogart's to ask about my ring The lady told me that the ring was not ordered until November 21st and it was not here yet nor did she know where it was She said she would get [redacted] to check on it and see what the status was The ring was ordered days later than I was told it would be I never heard from anyone until December 22nd [redacted] called and said that the ring had left LA (where it was being made) and was on the way here but she was unsure when it would arrive She called again on December 23rd saying that the ring was here and I could come and pick it up We got into the mall the following day, Christmas Eve, very excited that the ring was finally hereWhen I was shown the ring I knew right away it was not the same The stone was extremely noticeably smaller than the original I was DISGUSTED! I have been told a few excuses; apparently the stones are the same weight but the original is more "top heavy" Also I have been told that because the band is smaller because the stone is smaller I can't believe your workers would think we believe any of it [redacted] said that they will either size the original ring or take the stone from the original and put it in the new ring [redacted] told me I will be without a ring for or days She told me to come in on Tuesday, January 3rd, to bring the ring in and we could talk options On January 3rd we went into the Avalon Mall location - no one was aware that I was supposed to be coming in with my ring We had to explain our story (spoke to [redacted] ) - once again We left the store no further ahead than when we came in [redacted] hav [redacted] I am so fed up with the deceit and lies I have faced through this company An engagement is supposed to be one of the happiest, stress-free times in people's lives and it certainly was not that way for us I feel like there hasn't been any compassion and that no one really cared about our situation No one went above and beyond to try to make this better for us We went back to Bogart's last night for the last time ever We got a refund on our ring and took our business elsewhere I just wanted to get my story out there because it is shameful that customers are treated this way

My fiance wanted to create something different for my engagement ring and visited a few other jewelers within the city with no satisfaction as his idea was out of the boxBogarts was quick to accept the challenge and created a one of a kind custom ring just for meThe amazing service, attention to detail and the professionalism we received was out of this world [redacted] and his staff have always been helpful, kind and ensure we leave happy and satisfied after every visitWe recommend Bogarts above any other jewelry store!!

Today I visited the Bogarts location on Aberdeen Avenue to have my watch battery replaced since it was purchased as a gift by my wifeAfter some time in back, the clerk returned with the watchI immediately noticed that the back was defacedHer explanation was that she did not have the proper tool to remove the back to insert the batteryThis was a cherished watch that was cared for with pride by myselfWhat got me further was the clerk's response to my being upsetShe stated, next time bring it to a Jeweller! I have informed ***l of the incident and hope to be contacted with a couple of daysI am asking for a back replacement for this watchThought I'd get this out there in case anyone is considering buying from a "quality"..."not" jewellerIf you want good service and quality, please avoid this [redacted] *** Bogart locations

Speant months paying down a ring in secret to surprise my girlfriend and mother of , only to have the cashier call my home phone after my final payment to inform my partner that I had left my ring appraisel behind (she did not give it to me, and admitted it ) completely ruined months and months of work and preparation and showed Zero remoarse , told me to say I bought her a necklace when she blatantly ruined my proposal, I even had a note on file to never call this number unless I defaulted on payments , I will spread this far and wide as possible cause this is unforgivable
