The complaint is not about the work but about the cost, someone wanting work competed at little or no cost to them. We completed the needed tax returns and attached our letter dated September 29, 2014 to inform the internal revenue service of the problem that [redacted] had...

After receiving an email from [redacted] about the fee for the work completed, I responded with the attached email dated October, 08, 2014 showing the total cost of $1,115.00. I discounted the fee to $750.00.
In that same email I stated that she needed to take her work else where to be prepared and filed. At this time she had not paid for any services.
On October 20, 2014 I sent a letter to internal revenue service to remove me from the account as I no longer would represent her with the Internal Revenue Service. See attached letter.
On Friday October 31, 2014 my wife and I left for vacation. On November 03, 2014 [redacted] showed up at our office wanting the tax returns. Our employee did not know that I had told her to go else where and accepted the payment and gave her the tax returns to be filed.
[redacted] did not have to pay the fee that was her choice. She could have gone to another firm. The greater question would be why wait until I was gone to pay the fee and collect the tax returns.
Per Internal Revenue Service employees which I have talked to about this case, they stated that the minimum that I should have charged was $1,500.00. The estate received a great deal, but yet wants to complain.
We are closing our file as of this date as [redacted] had the right and the opportunity to have taken the work to another firm, but choose to pay the fee. She knew when she had a better than good deal.
