I am not receiving my refund according to the response from the business. My hair to this day (note: I haven't seen another stylist since this appointment) looks nothing remotely close to a curly perm or an "American wave", it looks the same exactly way I look naturally. Just to clarify, after I made a claim bohemian rose hair studio decided to update their website and one problem was resolved because they have a disclaimer about their policies. I still believe I am entitled to a full refund due to lack of service. I [redacted] American wave just to be informed in what it was. They could of at least been courteous enough to educate me and properly satisfy a high paying customer. Not only did I waste $423 but I also ruined my hair with a pointless perm. The least I ask for is my money back since I won't get back my awfully textured hair

To whom it may concern, This is [redacted] (one of the salon owners) responding to the complaint. On 12/**/2015, she had a consultation with another stylist about getting an American wave done; she wanted to come in the next day but, the stylist that she originally had the consultation with wasn’t...

available. She said she was okay seeing another stylist since she specifically wanted to get the service done on 12/**/2015. She was booked on my schedule, and when she sat down in my chair I had to consult with her before proceeding with the service (that is why we had another consultation, it wasn’t a lack of communication). She showed me a picture of a girl with very tight waves and big hair but she said “she didn’t want it as big “. My immediate response to the picture was to advise against this, explain doing a tight curl will give you the look of a perm. The she said she wanted my hair and I explained again this was not an American wave but a curling iron wave, that we would not be able to achieve this with the American wave. She said she was aware that the curls would be nowhere near as tight as the picture, and she didn’t want her hair to be as big, or curls as tight. She said she was just looking for a change, more of a natural wave. She was quoted $350 the day before for JUST the American wave, she agreed to the price and booked the appointment the next day, they also mentioned to her that we strongly recommend a haircut with the service, and if she chooses to get one it’s additional $75 to the $350. She said to add the haircut to the service. When we finally rinsed out the American wave and she was sat back in my chair, I asked her if she wanted to get a haircut to freshen up the ends, she said “yes I need a haircut”. After we cut and diffused it, I asked her if she liked her hair, and she said the waves were too loose, and wanted them tighter. At this point it was too late to redo the entire service in the same day , so I asked her if she can come in the next day and I will be more than happy to make it tighter, even though she mentioned to me before starting the service that she didn’t want her hair as tight as the picture. When she went to check out, I told the receptionist to only charge her $50 for her haircut instead of $75, which explains why her total was $423.23 ($23.23 are taxes) . She booked an appointment for the next day to come back, but later on she called and cancelled her appointment and asked for a refund. My receptionist mentioned to her our cancellation policy which is posted on the wall in the salon and our website as well. She refused to come back, and said if we don’t give her a full refund she will contact the Revdex.com and file a complaint. I am trying to attach our cancellation policy, but there’s no option to attach files. If you have any questions please give us a call at ###-###-#### or email us at [redacted].
