Review: I had a hair appointment with stylist [redacted] on Saturday, July [redacted] to have a hair treatment/service called the "Natural Blow Out System" which is supposed to be a protein amino acid based system that coats natural hair to prevent it from becoming less frizzy and prone to aversion. The system consists of 6 steps and is supposed to last up to 8 weeks. Before she applied the product, I asked specific questions such as will the system prevent frizziness?will there be less aversion? will I be able to work out even though my scalp tends to sweat? [redacted] stated that yes, the system will protect my hair from all of these things. Once the system was applied, my hair had lots of volume, bounce and it appeared to have a smooth and straight texture. Not even two hours after I left the salon my curls became flat and my hair started to frizz up and I had to flat iron my roots again when I got back home. By the end of the evening, my hair was completely frizzy, my roots had swelled, and the texture became very dry and brittle. The next day, my hair looked completely undone. I called the salon to explain that I was unhappy with the way my hair turned out and they asked me to come in on Wednesday, July [redacted] to assess my hair issues. [redacted] called me the day of to address my complaint over the phone and implied that there was nothing she could really do since the system "only smoothes the hair" and she can't help the fact that my hair got frizzy. She implied that it was a waste of time for me to come to the salon for her to look at my hair(have voicemail as proof). When I arrived to the salon, I explained my displeasure with the way my hair looked and that the system did not perform the way it should have. After constant back and forth with [redacted] and the salon's owner, they refused to refund me the cost of the system that left my hair unmanageable and a frizzy mess, they continued to tell me that the product only smoothes the hair and doesn't guarantee that my hair will not revert back to its natural state.Desired Settlement: I would like to be fully refunded for the system which cost $135 that was advertised on their website and what was explained to me when I was in the stylist's chair. Basically I received just a regular blowout without the added benefit of it lasting up to 8 weeks. If I can't be refunded for the full amount then I would like to be only charged for a standard blow out/flat iron which is $65,
