Decided to try Boiling Crawfish for a birthday dinner on 2/3/Called in the morning to request evening reservations as our first attempt at visiting this establishment was unsuccessful (they stop seating at for 10pm closing)We were unable to make same day reservations but were willing to wait for seatingAfter seating our party hadn’t fully arrived, so we ordered appetizers and waited for the rest of our partyThe manager came to our table and in a harsh tone told us “since you are waiting so long to order and other people have ordered before you, you will get what we have left”This was just the beginning of a nightmare type dining experienceWhen our server returned we placed our ordersWe had to specifically request children’s drinks (server did not even ask)Food began coming out but two orders were missing (kid’s meals)When it was mentioned to the server she informed us “they should be out in a second” another several minutes passed before ONE of the TWO kid’s meals were brought to our tableAfter bringing it up an additional time, the manager came to our table once more to discuss the missing kid’s mealI explained to him that the kid’s meal had not made it to the table but that had shared my meal with him (to explain the basket in front of the child)The manager proceeded to COUNT the baskets on the table to ensure we were not lyingHe once again came back and told me “you only ordered one meal and you said you had it”, I informed him that he was correct, I did have my food and my order was correct, however, the child next to me did not receive his food and it was ordered by his mother on the other side of him (who did receive her other orders)He left, and came back again to let us know he cannot make it now, it was too late (8:pm)NO APOLOGY AT ALLAt this point, everyone was ready to go, we just wanted our checks and to exitOur checks came with an automatic service charge, when asked what it was, the server explained it “was the fee for using our tables” NOT an automatic gratuity for large parties (which is understandable and expected) but a FEE FOR USING TABLES (this information has since been verified via other reviews, as many have mentioned being charged for parties or or 2)The service was horrible!! A gratuity would be very hard to justify let alone an 18% automatic service chargeThe manager proceeded to harass our table waiting for the bills to be paid (which they all were!) however, the service fee on one bill was not, an 18$ service fee for horrible service is completely unwarrantedThe night ended with a year old boy from our party hearing the manager say “ *** are always causing problem at my restaurant” and if only one part of this is every addressed it should be the blatant disrespectful derogatory treatment of patrons
This sickening attitudes ruined what could’ve been a wonderful dinner
I feel completely disrespected, degraded, demeaned, and hurtThis is unacceptable
