Suez water meter readings. The winter water average is updated annually . For the account in question, the usage update was effective August 1st for theAugust/September billing cycle.The water usage for this account increased significantly over the prior year triggering a "leak letter" being sent to the customer. The customer did not supply documentation of a leak. In addition, Suez investigated the property and did not find evidence of a leak. Without documentation of a leak, the winter water average used for sewer consumption cannot be adjusted.City of Boise staff spoke to the customer on the following.dates:8/ 14/ 1 7 - Customer called about billing; City staff reviewed the bill and explained the water update process and the customer's water use.8/ 17I17 - Customer called about water usage: He said S[redacted] could not find any leaks orissues with the water meter. City staff again explained the water update process and noted that the customer did not provide documentation of a leak when returning the leak letter. Without evidence of a leak, the water usage cannot be adjusted. The customer asked to speak to a supervisor.8/23/17 - Supervisor called customer; The Supervisor reiterated that there is no evidence of a leak, so the water usage cannot be adjusted.9/5/ 17 - City staff called customer in response to Revdex.com complaint;Staff reviewed the bill and explained what constitutes sewer consumption, how the water usage is calculated, and offered suggestions for how he can reduce his water usage/sewer consumption going forward. The customer now has a better understanding of the process, but still feels the water usage is higher than it should be.If you have any further questions about the complaint, feel free to contact me.
