I am rejecting this response because: The mechanic is not being honestI came into the shop because I felt that I was robbed and not being treated with respect, as soon as I started asking questions the mechanic told me and my coworker to leaveHe didn't explain what he did to my car when I came by myself to pick it upI did not see a parts receipt until I had already paidThis was not being truthfulWhen I came with my coworker he explained what a "timing belt service" included, he didn't explain it to me over the phone or when I picked up my car by myselfI also looked up on a website that mechanics use to estimate how much parts and labor would cost, and I was overcharged I want this matter to be resolved so I can continue to move forwardI just want to pay for the parts that I authorized to be replaced which are; the battery, alternater, and the timing belt.

To whom this may concern,On 02/24/2017 when Ms. [redacted] and her associate came into my office to discuss the charges that were on her repair bill, I was immediately confronted with very aggressive behavior. I was unable to explain any specifics on her bill, or even fully explain what a timing belt...

service means, without getting talked over and interrupted. I was very quickly able to determine that both of these individuals were not going to have a proper conversation, so decided to ask them to leave my facility. Upon my request they both refused to leave. After several attempts to get them to leave the property, I contacted the police department. A police officer came, and quickly determined that the actions that they were taking were not proper . He then had to escort them out of my office and off of the premises. The bill amount in question is the same as what was originally quoted. The customer came in on 02/23/2017 and paid for the vehicle repairs, signed the credit card receipt and repair order and left.  The charges that are now being disputed did not come up until she unexpectedly returned the following day.  The customer authorized a timing belt service, alternator, and battery replacement.  I even went as far as showing her the original quote that I had hand written for the amount that I had charged her, and that they matched.   Regardless of her seeing this information, she still remained steadfast on getting a $600 refund. This refund was on the basis that she only authorized $1200.00 in repairs.  According to your letter she is now only disputing $500 in repairs.  Why is there now a $100 difference?During the conversation I was having with Ms. [redacted] to authorize the repairs, She had indicated to me that she did not have the sufficient funds to pay for the repairs.  She then asked if she could make payments for the repairs, in which I said that I do not have any payment plans available.  She then gave me authorization to make the repairs for the $1800 quote, but said would not be able to pick the vehicle up Friday 02/24/2017.  I said that would be acceptable and could hold onto the vehicle until then.  When she arrived on 02/23/2017 to pick the vehicle up, I was not expecting her, but was not concerned either.  I have now noted several inconsistencies with Ms. [redacted] since the first time we interacted.  Weather she is just mistaken or being untruthful is unknown to me, however would like this matter to be dropped all together by Ms. [redacted]Additionally I am requesting that this email not to be posted or displayed at any venue or site by the Revdex.com.  I believe these matters should be handled through the proper channels and are personal in nature. Thank youBrian S[redacted]Boise European Motorworks
