I am rejecting this response because:Before I accepted the charges of $1150 I did ask about the high cost and the reply was, I quote, "this is a better water heater wit 10 years warranty". This was a false statement with the intent to justify the high cost. Moreover, I asked them to come and look at the old heater because it showed signs of rust. I DID NOT authorize the removal of the old heather before giving me a quote for the new one. I do not need to say more and I do have the text messages with the lies about the extended warranty.

On September 18, 2016, our office DWM Plumbing was called by [redacted] to replace his 40 gallon water heater that was rusted in the bottom. We scheduled the appointment for Sept. 19th. Once the techs arrived they assessed the water heater located in the attic and informed the home owner(s) that it...

was leaking and would need to be replaced. The home owner requested to upgrade from the 40 to the 50 gallon [redacted] and was given the price of $1150. At that time the home owner implied that his neighbor had a water heater replaced for $750 three years ago. I informed him that we could not replace his water heater for that amount. He agreed to have his water heater install for the $1150. The customer/home owner was satisfied with the worked performed and his water heater. Then, I started receiving several phone calls and text messages from the home owner about water heaters efficiencies, btus and warranties. Then he began asking about warranties on the heater, I told him the warranties come from the manufacturers on the tank from 6 -10 years He kept texting me so 1 had him to call the supplier to verify the warranty. We have no control over a manufacturer's warranties. DWM Plumbing was called out to service his problem with replacing his water heater and we resolved his issue in a professional and timely manner. Thanks[redacted]DWM PLUMBING
