Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaintThus statement is incorrectYes I called and had my vehicle towedI received the estimate for the bumperI talked to [redacted] at the front desk whom never told me to come in and approve the estimateI was willing to get my car fixedI asked for an estimate on the electrical work that would need to be done I was told by [redacted] they would have to do what is called a Tear down of the car to do thatI said that's fine get the estimate and let me knowHe said it would take a few daysA few days later I called to check on the vehicle and was told by [redacted] they were almost done would be done by the end of the weekI never once received a call again until I called in April and finally spoke with the manager/ownerNever once was I asked or told to come in a sign any papersThis all could have been avoided if Maaco would have communicated with meI didn't mind paying the $but no one has that type of money laying around when an unexpected fee comes alongWe Thank you

We completed every line item on the repair orderI am attaching it as supporting information to a seperate email We had told the customer that we do not install the weather stripping, we recommended a glass company as we thought all stripping was not in the VehicleHe was never charged for weather stripping installation or anything in regards to weather strippingPlease see seperate email outling each item that was on the repair orderThe weather stripping we not included in any estmatePlease see details in orginal RO # that is attached to email As for the delay in the repair, this was a very large job that did not have all the piecesWhen we take a job we give an estimate time of completionIf delays are encountered, the time period to complete the job will changeAll customers are encouraged to come in and see the progress of thier vehicle at any time during the repair processWhile we try to complete all jobs in a timely manner, please understand we and all bodyshops give an estimate of time of completion OFFER: Please bring vehicle in to show us any questions you may have about our repair and or the paint service
The car was towed to our facility in early March The owner of the car stated on the phone that she did not have insurance and needed an estimate, as she would be paying for the repairs herself An estimate was completed on 3/5/in the amount of $ She was called, and asked to come in to go over estimate and approve She would need to put a deposit on the new parts that were needed (since it was not an insurance claim, this is standard procedure) She then stated that the cars wasn't running and had other issues (mechanical issues) I am aware that she called times but still to this date she has not come into our shop She than called on 4/18/and the phone call was given to me This is the only time she spoke to me She explained that my Manager had not kept her informed and that the delay is all Maaco's fault I apologized for the problems and told her that I would help her by lowering the storage fee of $per day down to $per day The car storage fees would have started on 3/12/ At storage rate that would equate to days times $per day or $ I again apologized, and at that time I OFFERED AT THAT TIME, to charge her for days at half price of $day or $ She told me she excepted that but has never showed up to pick up the car After this one conversation she decided that my offer was unfair so she created this Revdex.com Complaint, and Negative Online Reviews She still has not been to our facility or contacted us?
