Company is WAY too expensive and they charge a $fee just for being a new customer Most businesses WANT new customers, they don't charge a fee This fee was never mentioned when setting an appointment--it just shows up on the bill Tech was nice enough, but tried to upsell everything and charged us $to remove a battery Not an honest company--find someone else to take your money These guys are not acting in the customers best interest

Overpriced RIP OFF - do not use the Groupon for this Company!!! Last month I purchased a Groupon for Bolt Electric for $ The Groupon Value is stated as $ Today I had a Bolt Electrician at my home I asked him to move an existing ceiling light from one position to another in our home and then to install a new ceiling light where the existing one is currently located He quoted me $ to move the existing light and an additional $to install the new light A total of $+ $F.F.SCharge Subtracting the $Groupon, it would be $+ $fee.I could not warrant spending that much on two ceiling lights I agreed to pay the additional $to have the existing light re-situated It took the electrician minutes to move the existing light - that cost me $+ $= $ How can Bolt Electric justify this extortionate fee for minutes work??? Apparently, the Groupon also included an electrical inspection Zero mention was made of that - CAN

Dean came in, and the first thing he did was give my Mexican Herding Hounds (chihuahuas) a treat which shut them up and let Dean work! His knowledge was on point and he worked up an estimate on site If All the other people working for Bolt Electric are as nice and professional as Dean, I would have no problem with them doing any job for me and will actively recommend them to any others who need extensive electrical work done

I have been doing business with Bolt Electric for several years They always do a professional, thorough job The technicians are always pleasant, trustworthy and hard working I plan to continue doing business with Bolt for many years to come

Mr [redacted] 's staff installed a fence on our property in July of While the quality of the materials was excellent, we were never furnished keys to our gatesAlso, one of the gates was installed misaligned and this problem has become worse to the degree that the gate now will not close properly My husband has left three voice mail messages for Mr [redacted] over the last 6-months and I have left one message this week Mr [redacted] has not response whatsoever Our dissatisfaction in his lack of follow up customer service will be reflected in the grading I make below

Bolt Electric responded to my power outage on 8/18/ They were able to temporarily restore power and returned the following day to replace my outside shut off box and breaker, interior electric panel and added a whole house surge protector Work was completed with professionalism and efficiency I was very satisfied with the quality of work and professional demeanor

very professional...no problems with the work done...little problem getting necessary infofor warrenty card...overall experience okay

First of all, I had to change my appointment with Bolt a couple of times, and Kate made it very easy to doDean and Wilfredo were great when they came to the house; they even put on shoe covers without me asking them to do so, which means a lot to me! Dean was very thorough in his explanation without being the least bit patronizingHe made everything very easy to understand, and I didn't feel that his recommendations for my house were simply to get more $$ out of meI definitely recommend this team to anyone looking for electricians!

We couldn't be more pleased with the service from Bolt Electric The technician, Clayton, was very professional and checked and changed out our smoke alarms, which were well over ten years oldHe replaced them with new ones with a ten-year battery He serviced a broken ceiling fan and inspected all the other ceiling fans in our house at our request The office called the day before to confirm our appointment and also sent us an advance e-mail providing the name and a picture of Clayton with some introductory remarksWe will definitely use Bolt again and will request that they send Clayton again

It was very easy to book an appointment Dean arrived on time and he was very honest and knowledgeable The repairs were fixed quickly and I would definitely recommend them

Found these rip off artists on Angie's List so I thought they would be OK The total charge was $(I paid part directly to Angie's List and they have been no help resolving this matter) Here's my email correspondence over getting a pool pump repaired, stay away from these guys

Lisa -- per our telephone conversation yesterday and the email I sent Sunday, I have disputed the Amex charge Bolt placed and also asked Angie's list for a refund of the special offer I paid for I requested a response yesterday but did not get any from Bolt
As we discussed, $to "diagnose" a bad pool motor but not fix it is outrageous The diagnosis could not have taken more than minutes and I told you it was either the motor or the controller box I authorized up to $to FIX the problem
Please remove the AmEx charge immediately so neither of us need to waste any more time on this matter

The Electrician Jeremy was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the work being done to me in detail. I was happy to have dealt with Bolt after receiving similar promises from other companies that never delivered or never showed up. Bolt Electrician Jeremy was right on time and even stayed after hours to complete the work with no additional fee. I wouldn't say that Bolt is the cheapest but they certainly did what they promised to do and were there when I needed them.

Great first contact. Friendly, prompt, polite and professional. Don't have quote yet but already better than most.

Last month I purchased a Groupon for Bolt Electric for $45. The Groupon Value is stated as $358. Today I had a Bolt Electrician at my home. I asked him to move an existing ceiling light from one position to another in our home and then to install a new ceiling light where the existing one is currently located. He quoted me $119 to move the existing light and an additional $149 to install the new light. A total of $268 + $14.75 F.F.S. Charge. Subtracting the $100 Groupon, it would be $158 + $14.75 fee.I could not warrant spending that much on two ceiling lights. I agreed to pay the additional $32.75 to have the existing light re-situated.

It took the electrician 10 minutes to move the existing light - that cost me $45 + $32.75 = $77.75. How can Bolt Electric justify this extortionate fee for 10 minutes work??? Apparently, the Groupon also included an electrical inspection. Zero mention was made of that - CAN

NEVER AGAIN!!!! I hired this company to fix a motion sensor light in my driveway. After paying a exotic price for them to show up at my door, and 3 visits thereafter, the light system still does not work properly. When I spoke to the owner/manager I was told it was the sensor, so I purchased a new sensor and had them install it, GUESS WHAT... The light still does not work properly... Absolutely terrible company

EXCELLENT employee! He advised on both a professional & personal level which helped me in making decisions on whats best for my family.
