They sipped me the wrong item, due to lack of action on their part, looks like I'm out the $** I paid for it

Just wanted to say thank you, by just mentioning Revdex.com they got on it, I think for now close my case don't bug em or nothing, as for I have received a really sincere email finally from "***" at freshwater systems explaining the hectic holiday season why
things got out a hand

When I first complained to the company all they wanted was for me to fill out a form and send pictures with an explanation as to the problem-which I did. Over a month went by and I had to contact them and they requested that I have the plumber come back and reinstall the filter-which I did. (no mention of a flow test) The installation was done in accordance with the company"s instructions. At that time their was no additional request for a flow test etc. If they had I could have had it done at that time. Now they want a flow test and for me to return the filter. I am more than willing to do the flow test if they are willing to pay for my plumber to come out and do it. Cost about $150. Like I said this could have been done at the time the plumber came out the 2nd time to check his work as a follow up. Several months later is a little late to be asking for the additional tests. I am willing to return the filter after I buy another one from another company but I want a full refund for that filter or they can cover the cost of having the plumber return a third time and do the test. They are unwilling to replace the filter so it can be returned. Like I told them I am a senior citizen on social security and can't physically get under the sink to do the test and I do not have any one else to do it. Again, if they had requested the test when they asked to have it checked and reinstalled I could have had it done at no additional charge to me. So I am asking for them to replace the filter, pay for the plumber, or give me a refund for the filter and I will return it

We do apologize for the delay in shipping product.  As much as we hoped to have a seamless movement of inventory from our old location to the new, there were some snags.  Some of the smaller parts were mis-located during the move.  This order actually shipped via US mail on the...

10th and was delivered on the 15th.  Due to our issues we have temporarily removed the same day shipping banner from our site.  As soon as we are caught up we will put it back.

The business did send a prepaid FedEx return label AFTER this complaint had been filed, and after I had informed it of the complaint.  We have returned the merchandise using the label provided, but have not yet received a refund, although I am certain that the business will take care of it in a timely manner.
My main complaint here was that the merchandise did not properly fit a refrigerator made for the [redacted] water filter, which is how it was advertised on the company's website.  Installation of the product on this refrigerator also caused a leak in the refrigerator's water system.   In the last two weeks, we purchased a genuine ** part [redacted] from a different supplier, installed it, and now the water system works properly again, and the leakage problem caused by the Water Sentinel [redacted] filter has ceased.  The business has in no way taken any responsibility for this problem or the damage it caused, and has treated us, the customer, as if we are out of line for suggesting that their product does not work properly.  Taking responsibility in writing for the problem and damage would resolve my complaint.
Unfortunately, the business has lost a repeat customer, and continues to sell the questionable water filters without warning to customers.

All the items have been packed in the original box as they were when they first arrived. The box of the replacement shipment ([redacted] Housing Caps) was never opened. Both will be taken to FedEx today with the labels provided.
Note: A lot of the teflon tape has been used. The stainless steel connectors were taken out of their plastic coverings and were washed with light soapy water, and the two of the three were installed for a brief period of time. The sediment filter was never opened. The housing sumps were cleaned with a new sponge and light soapy water, and new carbon block filters were placed inside with the housing caps screwed on , but the units were not installed. Finally, the manufacturer defects mentioned can be found about six inches inside the sump from the top. There is a noticeable bump and a pit on the inner surface of both sumps. They are minor, but the [redacted] explained to me how they occasionally happen.
There was nothing wrong with the teflon tape, and I continued to use it after our exchange of emails yesterday, so if you decide to deduct the cost of the tape from the refund, that would be fine.
This was an unfortunate experience for the both of us. Hopefully, we have both learned something here.
Finally, I am truly grateful to the Revdex.com of Upstate South Carolina for providing a way to resolve consumer disputes like this one.

Our customer service manager is responding with details on this incident which was clearly a lapse on our part; we will  be providing the full refund requested.

I have had nothing but problems with this company since I placed an order a little over a month ago. It all started when I ordered 3 filters for my house because I was desperately overdue for a new filter. I received my order several days later however, the filters in the box were a cheaper product that was not what I ordered. I found this a suspicious practice because there was no explanation of why I was sent a different product and no refund issued. I told fresh water systems and they assured me the filters would work so I used one and they refunded the difference in pricing while I sent the other two back to wait for my actual filters.
Two days later I received an email saying these filters were out of stock and would take an additional 4 weeks to ship. I spoke with a rep and told them my situation saying they were not out of stock according to their website when I ordered them and the company just sent me the wrong filters. They said they had other filters that would fit the system but they would be an additional $10 each. I told them I didn't feel like I should pay extra for their mistake and asked them to cover the additional cost for the two filters. They declined and offered me a 5% coupon off my next order. I asked them to cancel the order.
A representative sent me a confirmation email saying they cancelled my order and to expect it to clear my account in 2 business days. On business day 4 I reached back out to them to let them know I hadn't received anything yet. The rep told me paypal takes 5 days. I told her I used a credit card and not paypal and she said she would reach out to her supervisor and get back to me which she never did. I followed up once again through email and never heard back.
I then called the company and got a different rep who said she got the last rep to push the refund through. I asked why hadn't it already been pushed through was it not already initiated. She told me "I'm not sure I'm just coming in the tail end of this." I asked to be transferred to a supervisor. She told me the supervisor is in a meeting and sent me to her voicemail. I left a message for a call back and never received a call back.
So here we are 8 business days after the refund should have been cut to me, and a month after I placed my original order. I still have no money refunded back to me, the wrong filter in my system, and am left wondering is this company a scam? First they send cheaper versions of filters I order and if I had not checked on my credit card statement I wouldn't know they still had my money(which at the time of writing this they still do.) Do everything within your power to stay away from doing business with this company, they show zero empathy for doing wrong by their customers and have been a nightmare to work with from a customer service perspective.
