Worst company
I purchased a rechargeable Ryobi battery from this company on Amazon August 2023. The company gives you a three-year warranty. In February of 2024 the battery was not working and was not keeping a charge. We called Ryobi and they asked for the serial number on the battery. The manufacturer told use that it wasn't under warranty because it was over three years old. In my opinion, they are selling old products that have expired warranties and not informing the consumer of this important information.. The product appeared new, but was a older unit that should never have been sold . This is deceptive marketing.

We have been working with this customer closely and am surprised to see this complaint We are already working through a full refund which was issued today

I actually agree with everything in the complaint It is an accurate assessment of what happenedThere is, however, a bit of clarity needed We originally sold this book to *** and it was already used when we sold it We had bought this book used from a student
and later sold it as a used book to *** By buying it used, she saved about 70% than if we had sold it as a new book *** later decided she did not need the book and wanted to sell it back which is a service we provide She got an automated quote to sell the book back to us at www.bombbooks.com Our system, by default, gives a quote for a used book unless the user changes the condition to New *** changed the condition to New and received an automated quote for a new book and mailed it into usThe quote for the new book at the time was The quote for a used book would have been
Since she put it in as new, the order qualified for free shipping and we paid for the book to mailed in Had the book been entered as used as it should have, it would not have qualified for free shipping as the minimum requirement for free shipping is When we received the book, it was clearly used and we later discovered it was a book that was used before she even received it.
We did pay for the book to be shipped into us and we will still absorb that cost If *** would like the book to be returned, she would need to pay the return Postage which is We can send an invoice via *** or she can mail a checkIf she would like us to mail a check for the for us to complete the purchase of this used book, we can certainly do thatAttached are two screen shots of the orderOne shows the order being purchased on *** The other shows the order detail and shows it was listed in 'Used, Very Good' conditionLet me know any questions

Review: Hello my name is [redacted]. In January I purchased a textbook from Bomb Books. Though it was considered used given it originally had a previous owner, it was in perfect condition to me it looked no different then if it had just been taken from its wrapper. Sadly I never made use of the book during the course, because after the fact I was told by the professor that I wouldn't be needing it. So I placed it in my closet and there it sat until about two weeks ago when I decided to sell it back. When selling a book back you enter is ISBN code and the condition it is in, then the site will find the book and a cash offer for it. I checked it as new condition. They offered me forty dollars for it and I waited for two weeks for them to receive it. When it finally got to them they told me it was considered great condition and they would give me nine dollars and forty four cents for it. That is thirty dollar reduction from my original offer even though the book is perfect no rips, water stains, folds, scratches, no damage its pretty much brand new. They said you can accept this offer or we can send your book back. I told them I wanted my book back, now they want to charge me seven dollars to send my book back to me. I have to pay for an item that belongs to me. Then on top of it all I sent a second book out to [redacted] Books. They offered me seventeen dollars for it. It turns out Bomb Books and [redacted] Books are the same company just under a different name. They are stating that they will just take the price of returning my first book away from what I was going to be awarded for my second. Now my second book will only be worth ten dollars (that is if they don't receive it and change their offer) They are backing students into a corner, forcing them to take their lower offer, and scamming them out of their books and money. I sent two books out to this company under the impression that I would receive fifty seven dollars for them. I now owe seven dollars on one and will be receiving ten dollars for the other. This is completely wrong and something must be done. Thank you for your time.Desired Settlement: I would like both my textbooks returned to me. I would also like Bomb Books to pay for both books to be shipped back to me.

Review: I ordered a text book to rent from Bomb Books through [redacted].com on August 18 and paid extra for two-day shipping. I received a shipping notification from [redacted] Books, stating that the estimated arrival date was August 22. I still have not received my book or any notification about its whereabouts. I have contacted Bomb Books through the [redacted] Books website and directly through email. I did receive an email about a week ago stating that they would get back to me about the whereabouts of my book, and I still have heard nothing. I cannot find a phone number for Bomb Books, or I would call the business. [redacted] Books has passed along messages to Bomb Books for me, but I've still neither received a book, nor received any sort of tracking information. To make matters worse, the text books is a rental, and I will be required to pay the full price for the book at the end of the semester because I will be unable to return a book I never received.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for my order since I never received it.
