Review: Contractor was Paid in advance and didn't finish the job. Inspection on 6-15-15 revealed the roof was incorrectly installed with nails exposed which will lead to a leakage issue. Soffit and fascia was not completed. Made repeated phone calls. Contractor stated he would come back and he did not show up.Desired Settlement: Roof repaired to inspector's standards. Money returned for soffit and fascia that he did not complete.

Review: We signed a contract with Bombassi Construction on October 22, 2014. At this time the work is less than 40% complete. An additional contract was signed on January 2, 2015 due to slow progress at the property site and agreed upon a January 31st completion date. To meet this January completion date, we paid Bombassi Construction $6,000 part of the final remaining balance due. The final balance due was $8,000. Since this time no other terms have been negotiated and only part of the work has been done even after repeated phone calls, text and meeting with Mr. Bombassi. In addition, Bombassi Construction subcontracted the electrical work of which only 50% is complete and has left the property without power since March 11, 2015.Desired Settlement: It is our desire that the job be finished, however, we want to be amicable at the very least so no harm will come to our property. If no such terms can be met it is our wish to receive a refund and are looking into pursuing legal action against Bombassi Construction.

Review: he did what I thought was install a new heating coil - to remove snow and ice on roof and gutter - to fix the non-working coil that was their. But what I believe he only changed the GFI plug and never touched the coil. so when the bad ice hit in January I tried to call him but his phone was not accepting calls, but now is disconnected. I had to call the other company of which had sent him to me to help out with this and found out they had also paid him, only to find out now he was doing this to other customers too.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of the $425.00 I paid him as I had to have the other company come back and check the work and re-fix all the work he had done to find and fix the problems. I have all the receipts and contact information for Jay Bombassi Construction. Also the PNC replacement company, which came and re-did the work.
