hi this is furniture express the customer [redacted] used tempoe financing company her and her husband was approved each and they used bothThey still have a balance of due to the storeshe came in and spoke to the manager she wanted to cancel the manager told her ok but there is a 30% on cancelled orders she didn't agree and left the store we will be happy to help her cancel but we have to follow policyattached is her receipt with the policy on the bottom thank you and have a blessed day

Hi my name is Ana I am writing this response for furniture expressThe customer *** * *** was told she would receive her delivery after o'clock never a particular time due to the guys having multiple deliveriesWhen the guys came in the next day my driver told me he rang *** bell
and she had started arguing with him about it so he apologised knowing it was lateWhen they brought the merchandise upstairs, they open the recliner set it up and *** could not make a decision where to put the reclinerMy guys would put it in one place she wouldn't like it and told them repeatedly to move itThe drivers told her to sign the receipt so they could continue with their deliveries and she refused since the guys didn't want to continue moving the chair she didn't want anythingWe did tell *** there is a 30% cancellation fee also there was an extra charge for us going to pick up the merchandise that is already placed and set up in her home*** began to yell at my manager and she said she was taking us to court

The reply to my complaint (No#***). When I first came to the store I informed a sales rep(Jose) that I was interested in a bedroom set, He asked me How was my credit, I informed him that it was fair and he then said that he can approve me and my husband $1,each thru his bank. They never informed me how much or when I had to pay the loansHe asked for my debit card to check to see if it could be approved along with my I.D and Social Security numberThe next day I noticed they took $out of my checking account. I came back to the store and that's when the sales repinformed me that I had to pay $every two weeks, and I informed him please cancel that order because I can't afford to pay that amountI also called Tempoe and they said they can't cancel the order to inform the store. They never informed me or my husband (*** ***) that we had to pay 30% of the loan if we cancelIn fact they had the delivery going to a wrong location, see receiptI went to the store several times demanding the cancellation of bedroom set and my refundMoreover in the invoice he again made an error and put a sofa and a love seat instead of the bedroom set

My complaint started because the salesman sold me a recliner and sent a different one insteadWe agreed on a recliner that we sent to the next afternoonIt was actually delivered days after the date originally agreed onThe day of delivery I called several times to pin down a time for deliveryI was told 1pm, then was changed to 3pm after that I was that the driver was close and when call when he was near my houseAbout 7pm I called to get some information to the driver's location to estimate the time of deliveryI was told that he was given my number and would call about his locationAt 8pm I heard someone beating very loudly at my doorIt really scared my father and I because we were not expecting someone to knock so loudly agressively at my doorI have a buzzer which he could have used or at least called me when he was outsideHe came in with an attitude and brought in a mattress which I had also purchased He took out a piece of paper resembling a receipt and said signI told him that I also purchased a chairHe waved his hands to gesture that he did not speak englishI tried explain more itemsHe left out and csme back in with box springs for the matressBoth items was place in my hallway between the kitchen and the living roomI gestured that he should place them in the bedroomHe said noI said that I am not signing the receipt until he doesA second gentleman came in with a box and placed it on the floor and leftThen the first delivery guy gestured for me to signI told him he must show me what is in the boxHe didn't understand, I guessSo I pointed to the box and gestured, what is this? He took out two pieces and sat them om the floorI asked where is my chairSo he pointed to the two piecesI told him that this is not what I orderedHe proceeded to take out the receipt for me to signI siad no, you must take this back I didnt order thisI took out my phone to call the store, there was no answerI told that I could not signHe gestured that he was leaving and started to leaveMy mattress was still in the hallway so pointed to itHe strugged his shoulders as he walked quickly out of the apartmentThe mattress was still in my living room and the chair (two pieces) was in the hallwaySo I kept on calling but no one ever picked up the phoneSo me snd my dad took on a closer look at the chairIt seemed to be made of some type of cardboard Thats why it only took the one guy to bring it inSomething that shocked both my dad and I is that it had a plugIt had a plug to an electrical socket Once the two pieces were put together my heart just fellI felt so helpless and embarrassed that my dad saw everything that happenedThe chair was to small for my dad to sit onAlso the arms of the chair had to be attached with velcro on one side and a zipper on the other sideWhen the reality of my purchase came to view, I decided to take off work the next day and go to the store in personI move the mattress to my bedroom and placed the fake chair out of the hallway The next day I called the store about 10am hoping this was a big mistake, no one answeredSo I arrived at the store at 11amI immediately gestured to the salesman who originally helped me but when he saw me he went to someone who I assumed was the manager and whispered something in Spanish to himI went over to him and asked him if he remembered meHe didn't answer snd his manager came over to meI told himthat he sold me the wrong chairHe asked me, what chair? I told him to ask the sales guy who sold itI pointed to the salesman, the manager said never mind him you show meHe took out the furniture bookAsk me which oneI tried show him and he told me that the chair I got was a good chairI told him that it is not the one that I orderedI told him that im not in the habit of paying almost $for something that I didn't orderHe asked for my receipt and showed a book with the chair that was at my house, so I said that is not the chair that your salesman sold to meI asked him to bring the salesman and ask himHe disregarded what I said and told me that he liked the chair and he couldn't understand why I didn't like itI told him that I did not want the items sold to me and that I wanted a refundHe told me that he didn't like my attitude and he decided that he would not take the items backI told him that the contract stated and the salesman also told me that at the time of delivery after the setup (which never happened) if I disliked the items they could be returnedIf the recipient decided upon delivery that the items was not suitable or damagedI reminded him of this factHe then stated that my attitude about everything was bad and he has decided that I should pay for everythingHe said that the contract I signed guaranteed paymentI told him that I would take him to court if I had toHe laughed and said that I could call President Obama,it would not make a differenceAt that moment I just left.
