Revdex.com:
I would like to clarify the situation a little further since there was lots of confusion during communications. I received the pot as a gift for Christmas from my Mother-in-law. I used the pot for the first time on Feb. 7th which is when it warped during use. I contacted [redacted] on Feb. 8th. Between Feb. 8th - Feb. 10th, 5 different Customer Service agents were communicating with me. They requested that I send photos of the damaged pot. I was told by [redacted] on Feb. 10 that they had been in contact with Bon Chef and that they denied the warranty claim based on the photos stating that I had used the pot empty & incorrectly. I had not used the pot empty, the pot was empty in the photos because that was the day after use. I offered to speak with Customer Service on the phone to better explain & clarify, but no one would contact me. This process was very frustrating & confusing being that I had 5 different people from [redacted] contacting me. Often times their messages conflicted each other or changed what a previous message had stated. After [redacted] told me that Bon Chef denied my warranty claim, I tried to contact Bon Chef directly by filling out a Customer Service request on their website. I received no response. That is when I decided to contact the Revdex.com. It was after that complaint was filed on both [redacted] and Bon Chef that all of a sudden I was finally receiving assistance & people were actually asking me more questions. That is when Bon Chef contacted me directly and asked me to send back the pot so they could examine the pot. After examining the pot they determined that something was indeed wrong with the pot & offered to send me a new pot. I requested a refund, but they had stated they could not issue a refund because it was purchased from a 3rd party vendor and that they would send me a new pot.It was after I stated to the Revdex.com that I did not want a new pot & wanted a refund back to my Mother-in-law that [redacted] and Bon Chef worked together to resolve the issue. I have confirmed that my Mother-in-law did receive the credit back for the purchase of the pot. I wish it hadn't come this far that I needed to get the Revdex.com involved, but the poor communication and lack of Customer Service from [redacted] made it the best way to resolve the issue.I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is finally satisfactory to me. Regards,
[redacted]
