The account # that is showing on my chart account is Account #***. For these hospital services - Again, based on the promotion that was marketed by Bon Secours, it did not state that specific accounts were excludedI understand that on the tail end there was a criteria selection which would disqualify some accounts and include others but the marketing strategy to get folks to call in to arrange payments is deceptive

I took my wife here for what was thought to be a spider bite, upon arrival we were walked to the room within a few minutes and set their waiting about minutes (no vitals were taken) upon the doctors arrival he quickly determine (by pressing on her thumb with his fingers and just looking at it) that it was just a popped blood vessel, they said the "could wrap it to immobilize it for a day" but it was no big deal So the nurse came in and wrapped it, we were gone minutes later Much to my surprise they billed my insurance company well over $for what was a very basic visitI paid the doctor separately out of pocket and still was billed over $from the hospital after insurance Again no X-ray, no blood pressure, or vitals of any sort When I called to find out why it was so much they said they would mail me an itemized billAfter 6-calls they finally called me back (over months later) I now only got a letter from them months after that says they are turning it over to collections.....incredibly poor customer service Too think we just had our twins their and they got another 5k last year I'm very disappointed in this hospital for ripoff service fees for basic care

Case number *** A summer promotional of **% write off was offered by Bon Secours on certain accounts that met a certain criteria. The criteria was the account had to be paid in full minus the discount, the patient has to be clearly noted with the discount code and the we had
to receive the insurance payment by 8/25/which was when the promotional ended. The patient's account did not quality for the discount. The account was not noted with the coding and we did not receive a payment from the insurance company until 9/27/2017.
