Bonanza Heating & Air Conditoning, Inc.

I called Bonanza asking for more information about a furnace cleaning and tune up. One of my questions was regarding how much it was going to cost. The woman I spoke with told me that they charge $95/hour. I asked how long it usually takes. She said it usually takes about an hour, so I was expecting to pay around $95. On the day that bonanza came to my house, the service technician did not bring a vacuum with him. I let him use our shop vac, but I was a little disappointed that he had come unprepared. In just under an hour, he was finished and left. About one week later, I got my bill in the mail charging me $149.77 for 1.5 hours of work. I was confused about the extra half hour, so I called Bonanza to ask about this. The OWNER told me that it was a charge for travel time, 15 minutes to my house and 15 minutes back. I told him that there had been no mention of this charge when I had originally called to ask about pricing. Additionally, the section on the bill where they would fill out mileage and travel time had not been filled out. He told me (in a very rude tone) that they would have to charge me for filling that out then too. After being very rude, he quickly said that he needed to get off the phone because he had another call coming in. I cannot believe that the owner of the company spoke to me that way. I will NEVER use this company again, nor will I recommend it to anyone else.
