Reservation was made for one night onlyRegarding the am call to extend her room another night was to check back with Front Desk to see if there were any cancellations or no shows, due to sold out weekend so we could accommodate their second night in which we were able to do soGuest never called
the front desk the following morning to see if they could extendIt wasn't until check out time housekeeping found there were belongings in said roomAt that time we went ahead and extended the stay to accommodate another night stayThis was possible due to cancellation priorThis is why keys did not work the second dayPictures on websites showcase our different room types which are Deluxe and Standard roomsYou have the option to choose your preference when booking onlineBut this guest booked directly with hotel as part of a group that has a pre-negotiated contractual agreement for standard rooms only at a discounted rateManagement performed a very detailed investigation in regards to the complaint and found no issues with the commode seat and poorly done wall patch's with no issues at allNor with the wall outletsRoom is identical to all other standard room in hotelAll lighting is same in each and every roomGuest have stayed in this exact room after this guest with no complaintsThe mattress in room is actually brand new and was purchased approxone month prior to guest stayA soft or firm mattress comfort is a matter of personal preferencesIn all stayovers as part of our eco friendly go green project if the soap or toiletry items are still plentiful and good usable condition we will place item back onto counter neatlyWe replace when needed or upon guest requestAs a courtesy to our arrivals we provide each new check in with two complimentary bottle of water request there after can be purchased at front desk at a cost of $per bottle or from vending machine on propertyThe soap that is referred to as being cracker sized soap is actually standard in many hotels throughout the industryAnd it is purchased strictly through a hotel international supply companyWe have a facial and bath bar that we provide in all roomsDetermination is guest did not notify front desk of challenges or concerns while present at hotel so that they may have been corrected at said timeWe feel at this time a refund is not warranted.
