Bond Cleaners

Review: I've been a loyal customer of Bond Cleaners for the past few months and recently found a tear in the side of my slacks after picking them up from getting dry cleaned. I'm meticulous with my suit and know this tear wasn't present prior to dropping them off. It looks like the pants got caught on something, resulting in a one inch tear half way down the thigh between the front and back pocket, exposing the lining. This damage can't be repaired. When approaching the owner about this issue, he simply stated that because his company has been around for over 20 years, and this couldn't have happened at his business. He told me he wouldn't cover this damage at all, despite the fact that I bring him lots of business. Since the slacks are part of a suit, I now need to purchase a new one because the rip in the pants looks unprofessional.Desired Settlement: Bond should pay to replace the pants. Since the pants are part of a two piece suit, this would require replacing the suit in it's entirety. If a tailor thinks they can fix the pants, I'd also be content with a repair, but according to the folks at Bond, this damage can't be repaired by tailoring.
