It does not matter that I dont have the receipt for proof of purchase, The fact remains it was their product i.eBond No(the manufacturer) which caused this severe allergic reaction.
There is an obvious fault with this fragrance otherwise I would not have experienced such a severe reaction. The manufacturer i.eBond Nohave a responsibility to put this matter right and to at least want to know what caused this reaction (i.eproduct testing) , and should not evade this responsibility by saying it has nothing to do with them! Of course it does they manufactured this perfume!! The Distributer or retailer is selling their product on behalf of the manufacturer therefore the product comes with a guarantee or after sales warranty. If a new customer experiences an unwanted and unpleasant experience to their luxury brand, aftercare should be a key priority for the manufacturer!!
This is not a good example of a manufacturer showing a duty of care or responsbility for its products. just because the consumer does not have the receipt.
Very disappointed to receive such a response from a prestige brand

Firstly, we are the manufacturer/wholesaler of the bond no.9 products.
We sell our merchandise to stores like Saks New York. The customer stated that her husband bought the product from [redacted],...

New York.
We had nothing to do with the transaction.
We did no business with [redacted].
We never got paid for that sale.
We can't issue a refund because we aren't part of this transaction.
In fact, her husband lost the receipt of proof and paid cash.
It's like the transaction never happened.
Saks customer service could do nothing for her and
we can't do anything for her either.
I'm sorry she had an allergic reaction but my hands are tied.

I tried a sample of the Wall Street scent by Bond no 9 and sprayed it on the back of my hands, this was Sunday 4 February and my hands have suffered an allergic reaction, I have tried anti-histamine cream but they are still raised and itching 3 days on! I can't recommend this brand after such a fierce reaction to their product. Has anyone else suffered this reaction?

Further to my previous post above, a week on and my skin is still dry and itchy and raised where I sprayed this perfume, what do they put in this stuff, I will never go near it again!

Review: I purchased a bottle of perfume from this New York City based fragrance boutique. The perfume has a stale odor, and is neither fresh nor agrees with me. I frequent at this boutique and have exchanged items in the past upon a verbal agreement since the inception of engaging in its business. The business further has a written policy that says it is happy to accept exchanges for any items to which a consumer is unsatisfied. I have sought this business's headquarters as well the location from which I purchased the item(s) to not resolution.Desired Settlement: I would like the bottle of perfumed exchanged or a refund of its value.

Review: This fragrance was a gift from my husband after a recent business trip to NYC in Feb**. The issue is still on going with Bond NO 9 HQ and SAKs and it still has not been resolved. The fragrance was purchased from [redacted]. It was $280 dollars for the 100ml Bond NO 9 Signature fragrance. My husband has lost the receipt for proof of purchase, it was also paid by cash and I live in UK. Please note I have never tried a Bond no 9 fragrance before. I had only applied this fragrance to my neck and I noticed my neck started to become itchy so I discontinued using the fragrance. I developed red patches and a sore/inflamed rash on both sides of my neck and behind my ears. I have sent pictures which showed the rash to both Bond NO 9 and SAKs. I had been taking antihistamines' and applying aqueous cream as advised by my Pharmacist. Bond No 9 or SAKs customer service were not helpful and when I did speak with them the told me to return to SAK for a refund,they had no interest in my allergic reaction or my health or well being!SAKs Bond No 9, NYC have asked me to return to NYC by Fed ex but they will only issue me with credit card and they wont help with return postage! I have checked with Royal Mail (equivalent of USPS) and they advised me that I cannot return by international post as it is a prohibited good (i.e. inflammable liquid). Royal mail also advised me that if I use a courier service such as Fed ex this will also be very expensive as it be classified as high risk goods. I spoke with Fed ex and it will cost 60.56 ($101.81) dollars for shipment!I have tried to contact Bond NO to see if they can help with postage or let me return to a UK bond no 9 address but they have ignored my emails. Saks said I could ask a firend to return for me but my husbands contract has ended in the USA. To date I am still waiting on a response from Bond nO 9 to see if they can help me and give a refund as that is the least they can do!Desired Settlement: Cheque for $280 dollars for perfume and cheque for the cost of postage 101.81 I am totally shocked at the level of customer service I have received from two prestige brands i.e. SAKs and Bond NO 9. They have no interest in the after care of new customers and have shown no concern over a severe allergic reaction to a luxury fragrance (market research must not exist for allergic reaction to be investigated). I will be taking legal action if this matter is now resolved.
