We offered to send a tow truck to pick up the vehicle and make the repairs correct that he was accusing me of doing incorrect. He declined them. He has given me another check which is returned for Insufficient funds once again, according to his bank. Definite answer will be by tomorrow. If he wants to take me to court then that is fine. Once he declined the tow truck and the offer to make it right, it was out of my hands. The heads are what they charged me out of bandera plus 30 percent. It is what our standard mark up is for any customer. My labor was 22.5 hours which is what the book calls for. What parts cost is out of my hands. My rate is 85 an hour which is lower than anyone else around here. So how Im a scam artist, I dont know.

I am rejecting this response because:
The owner of Bone Stock Truck Shop is lying. I never signed anything giving permission for anything extra to be done to my pickup and the heads were not supposed top cost even close to what he charged me. First he said my heads were good. Then my heads were not good but could be rebuilt. Then he said they were not rebuildable. I could have bought brand new heads for what he charged me for those old used heads. If my heads were as bad as he said they were, my pickup wouldn't have been running at all. It ran better with blown head gaskets than it does now. I did stop payment on my check because I got scammed by this place. he has been paid in full now and the $1200 extra that he charged also has been paid. He has scammed numerous customers and most of them are pretty upset with him and will not go back to him. I have talked to a few of them and they are willing to go to court as witnesses if it comes to that.  If Revdex.com cant help me get a refund I have every intention of hiring a lawyer and suing this business for 3 times the amount overcharged plus attorney fees and lost wages for not having my pickup for over 2 months now and for all the repairs Ive had to do to it since I got it back from them.My stepdaughter did work for this business and was fired because she was standing up for what she knows is right and he cussed her and called her names and ran her off. Since then he has tried to hire her back but she refuses to work for a lying scammer like him. I have only taken my pickup to this place one time prior to this and they did not screw me this bad and I ended up paying him more than what the bill was because I felt sorry for the guy. I guess his strategy worked on me once but never again.

I am rejecting this because after I found so much stuff wrong with my pickup that was missing or installed wrong I didn't want them working on my pickup again. There were parts put on or so I'm told that my pickup did not need and I did not agree to have replaced and wad not even notified about until I went to pick up my truck from then. Then they surprised me with $1200 more than what I was told it was going to be and they didn't even have to replace the head studs. They used my old ones which I was told would lower my bill but instead my bill kept getting higher and higher. I should have been notified about the price difference on the heads before and not after. I could have gotten cheaper heads somewhere else. As for my check, I don't go around giving hot checks to everybody like Bone Stock does to everyone including theiir employees. Besides, I have overdraft protection at my bank. They pay all my checks I write.Im not going to keep argueing  about it. Its getting me nowhere. I have pictures and videos of everything that was screwed up by BS Truck Shop. Taking everuthing to my lawyer by Monday. Sincerely.[redacted]

This guy was completely aware of all charges. 3500 dollars was without new heads. We sent his heads off to get checked. it was 1200 for new set of heads. He talked to his step daughter who was my secretary at the time. All the approvals went through her. This guy has bashed my named more times and...

Im sick and tired of it. The cops are involved because he paid me a check and then canceled it after he took his truck. I personally went over this truck myself along with every tech in my shop. Last time this guy was in my shop, I swallowed 1000 dollars just to make him happy. I swore Id never work on his stuff again and some how his step daughter (who no longer works for me) slipped him in. He didnt want any further repairs done to his truck that he could do him self because he didnt want to pay any extra then he already was charged for.  I Have text messages proving this. If you research this guy, he goes around and bashes any company that doesnt give him free stuff.
