The Bonel rep informed me that they would accept whatever my insurance company would pay He never informed me to check with my insurance company first Now I have a $bill I talked to Bonel and they admitted the reps mistake but are not willing to waive the charge or even negotiate it I would not do business with them again
I was in an accident Sat., 9/20/14. I went to an urgent care facility on 9/22/14 because I was having pain in my neck. The urgent care facility put a neck brace on me and sent me to the hospital for testing. The urgent care facility instructed me to return to them after having the test, so they could remove the collar, which I did. Eight months later, my insurance company received a bill and paid it. When I contacted Bonel, they said they would have to verify that the collar was returned and if it had been, they would issue the credit to my insurance.
I have been trying to straighten the issue out with this company for months, and I keep getting the runaround. As of today, the credit has not been paid to my insurance company.

11/18. Bonel Medical Equipment billing rep, Yolanda, contacted me yesterday at 409pm and stated that her office manager could only drop bill from $50.83 to $25.00, and apologized for their representative giving me the wrong information regarding my payment responsibility. Yolanda stated they will send me a new invoice with new agreed amount and that I could disregard previous invoice of $50.83.
