Review: The reader board on the sign outside says that there is a rebate on Pennzoil Synthetic oil changes. This location generally is priced 20 to 30 dollars higher for an oil change than where I usually go in another town. I thought that with a rebate the difference in price would be acceptable, so for convenience sake I stopped to have the oil changed. I told the attendant that I wanted the pennzoil with the rebate and he took my car and changed the oil. When it came time to pay, a total of 82.60, I asked for the rebate form. The female attendant at this time told me that it ended in October. I replied "oh really, well it's still on the sign and here we are a week into November". She made NO move to reduce the bill or even apologize. Noone went out and took down the inaccurate signage. This of course is after I've signed on the debit charge slip and after the oil has been changed when you can't say "thanks but no thanks". I told her that the rebate was the whole reason I stopped there in the first place because their prices are so high. She could not possibly have cared less. I told her that she can be sure that I will never do business here again and would be spreading the word about her customer service skills and their shoddy business practices. I will also be forwarding complaints to Pennzoil so they will know how they are being represented.Desired Settlement: I would like the amount of the rebate refunded. In a perfect world, due to the amount of time I've had to devote to this the entire amount would be credited. This is absurd treatment in a world of such stiff competition.
