Incident occurred Saturday, September 10, Incident report was sent to corporate office Monday, September 13, Resident in had an unauthorized pet locked in her bathroom and she was not at homeDog chewed through the toilet supply line causing several apartments to be affected
Manager was contacted by office staff and immediately gave instruction to contact our carpet vendor, *** *** and Restoration to remove water and padding in a total of units; 1301, 1302, 1306, 1307, Due to the amount of water and the number of units affected it took several days for carpets to dry out to allow padding to be re installed and carpets to be shampooedPadding replacement was completed within the first week of the incidentSheetrock repairs were delayed due to insurance adjuster's availability to meet and inspectOnce we were given approval by insurance adjuster to move forward with sheet rock repairs all repairs were scheduled and completedSheet rock repairs began on or about September 26th and were scheduled based on severity of affected unitsMr*** apartment was fully restored as quickly as possible based upon contracted vendors' scheduleIt is our opinion that his carpet is not in need of replacementOn several occasions Mr*** requested compensation and we referred him to his renters' insurance policy/provider. *** ***Northgate Village Community ManagerTel*** Fax.***
