I don't even know where to start with these people, so I'll just start from the beginningI called to inquiry about my interest in a Jeep Grand Charokee I found online and to ask about some of the features along with asking how negotiable the price wasI was told that the price was ONLY negotiable IN-PERSON and that all the features I needed were installedWhen asked for my name and number I gladly left them, but I refused my email for spam prevention (I immediately received spam text instead)I received call backs (One from the Salesman(Will) and from the manager(Ray)) the following day, which were appreciatedI informed the salesman, who I had spoke with previously that, "yes I'm still interested but let me set up finances 1st"I called and spoke to the salesman a third time then I set up an appointment to test drive the next dayI called on the following morning before my departure from home to make this (hour one way) journey, just to double check that everything was A-OK with the vehicle, the Salesman who I had previously spoke with THREE TIMES asked for my name then proceeded to look me up in the system to figure out which vehicle I was interested in!?! He told me everything was in order and that he awaited my arrivalWhen we arrived I was informed there was a "small problem that caused the check engine light to come on" with the vehicle and it would be in the shop minUpset that the vehicle wasn't ready after driving hours I began asking questions and all I received were lies, excuses and offers to interest me in other vehiclesCome to find out the vehicle had a BLOWN ENGINE (which I'd hardly consider a small problem)! While asking questions to the salesman about this vehicle to figure how he could have possible not known this vehicle had a blown engine, I was then informed that it was a "BUY-BACK" from an unsatisfied customer! (So you put it back on the market before inspecting it and trying to fix the problem or was this the good old bait and switch?????????!!!!!!!!?????)The manager apologized and said "this is not how we normally conduct business" and offered to fill my truck (sitting on a full tank)I was offered a pick of a few vehicles which did not match my criteria, then I picked a few that were overpriced that matched and asked them to bring it down to the price that I had come to payI was explained that they did not go below sticker price (apparently not even IN-PERSON), so I said NO THANKS! The salesman gave me $out of his pocket to compensate for my fuel, but there is no compensation for my time!!!!! It would have been very easy to just say hey this vehicle is no goodDon't waste your time driving hours for nothing! A week later the Jeep is still listed on autotrader!
