Review: I went in for appointment on 11/04/2013, before going into my appointment I called to make sure if they took my dental insurance and the receptionist said yes. The dentist assistant sat me on a chair and started cleaning and x-rays were taken. During this time no one told me of the cost or how much the dental insurance would cover. After everything was said and done, I receive a bill for the services that where done. I spoke to [redacted] "the manager", who said that they believed I had OPEUI insurance and they usually cover everything. That is why they did the cleaning and x-rays. But since I don't, I should go through my insurance and they will issue out a check for reimbursement. I called Delta Dental Insurance and the service representative said that they do not pay for reimbursement for dentist that are out of network.Desired Settlement: I believe that I should not be charge for the services they performed since they did not tell me how much it would cost prior to doing the work. I paid $50 copay. I did not ask and did not approve them to give me a cleaning or x-rays.
