If you carefully read and comprehend my complaint it clearly stated I was willing to pay $when the first stylist quoted me the price I never tried to negotiate a lower price, so please go back and read my complaint The ONLY issue I had with this shop is the simple fact coming up with a set price Don't sit a client down and quote price ($35), and then change it ($45), and then say the price can go up ($45-$55) depending on how much you have to do Since you are the professional and been in business for years you should be able to look at a clients hair and quote a price and stick to it, or at least train your staff to do so Either way, that doesn't look good for your businessI'm sure I am not the first person to complain about your business practice, but maybe the first to call you out with the Revdex.com To make things easier for your business and clients establish a set price at the beginning THAT'S ALL

Review: I walked into Bonitas and I was greeted by a stylist. Not very friendly. She greeted me by saying you want your hair done. I said Yes. She told me she couldn't give me a price for my hair. I said I needed to know a price before I sat down. The stylist then said well its should be $35 because of my hair type. I told her ok. I will pay that. Another girl took me to the back to the wash bowl and told me my hair would start at $45 and it might go up once she start blowing drying my hair it all depends on how much work she has to do while blow drying my hair out. I told the second stylist what the other stylist said $35. So I declined and walk out and got my hair done at another Dominican salon which charged me $30 for a blow out. What my complaint is I feel your prices should be laid out and followed. I felt discriminated because of the type of hair I got. A normal salon prices go up by the length of the hair not the type of hair. I'm African American and I have about 2 inches of natural hair and 4 inches of perm. So total my hair is shoulder length. There is no reason why my hair should cost of $35. So I wanted to complain because let's say I only had $35-$45 to pay then she start going up on the price. That would leave both both the client and the business in a conflict that could result in calling the police, all for what for them not coming up with a exact price at the beginning of the consultation. That not for to the client.Desired Settlement: My suggestion to this establishment would have your price shown by either length, type, etc. If they charge more for natural hair it needs to be displayed. If they charge more for longer hair they should have that price displayed.
