Review: Bonita's Way was recommended by [redacted] to service my washer, because a wire popped off the opening of my washer. I was told it would be $** to walk through my door. First of all he wasn't coming after he scheduled the apt because he said my number didn't go through. I called him and then he said he was coming to my house. He got here, popped the wire on in 10 seconds and said it was fixed. I went to get my credit card and the person training with him said they only accept cash, which I was never told. He said because I wasn't told that I could write a check. So then he says I need this cleanser for my washer so the rubber part stays clean and keeps it in good shape, but I need two bottles. So the total is $[redacted].**, $** a piece for the washing machine magic, he happens to have 1 bottle with him and will send the other bottle. I told him I thought that was a high price for the work he did. He said it was industry average. After he left I called a company that was going to repair my washer before [redacted] recommended Bonitas Way. This Company was also recommended by [redacted]. The other company said they would've charged $[redacted] for that job and couldn't sleep at night if they had charged $[redacted].**. I text this back to the person who came to my house and he said he charged 1.5 hr labor for driving 1 hr to my house and 1 hr to get home and he did me a favor by not charging me mileage which would've been another $**. I called Bonitas Way and asked them if that was a fair price for that service and they said I could talk to the owner so I said okay. Then she tells me The person that came to my house is the owner. I text this person again and he said he would have to talk to the owner and would refund some money if it was more than the industry standard. I told him he was the owner and he denied this. Kept saying he did me a favor fro not charging me to train his help, didn't charge for mileage and was shipping the 1 bottle of washing machine magic for free. Text me repeatedly up to around 9pm. Said the owner would call me in the morning about a possible partial refund. Stated the owner is much harder to deal with than him. So no response the next day. I text him and asked if he found anything out. Stated he charged me industry standard, but the owner would call me. Found an alert about this company on the Revdex.com and that there are 6 complaints and states he is the owner. He only said he would have the owner call me. He had stated he wanted me to be 100% satisfied the night before and I said I am 0% satisfied. I feel I was scammed and lied to and charged an outrageous price for the service I received. And the owner never called me back.Desired Settlement: I would like to pay a reasonable price for the service I received, which according to another appliance repair place would be $[redacted].
