On Wednesday 8/I reserved a rental home in Gilbert , Az on the Book My Vacay websiteI gave them my credit card information as well as agreed to the terms and conditionsMy invoice number was and was for the total amount of $The email does state that they will contact me within hours once the reservation was reviewed and my payment was successfully processedI called them after hours to make sure my reservation was approved and the woman I spoke to told me it had to be a mistakeThe rental was going for $per weekI explained to her that's not what I was quoted yesterday She had no interest in what I had to say and I had no recourseShe was extremely rude and was always talking over me

Our family has had wonderful experiences with Book My Vacay, both as renters and ownersAs renters, they were top-notch in helping us select a property that met our needsWhen an unexpected problem arose with the home, they promptly and professionally dealt with it, setting us up in a comparable property close byAs owners, they have been diligent in advice and in marketingWe highly recommend them

The best thing I can say about Book My Vacay is that they have excellent photographersThe house that we rented bared little resemblance to the online photosThe pool equipment didn't function properly resulting in a non-swimmable pool - and with children, the pool was a main factor in the rental decisionThe backyard was filthy, old shovels, very old trash (likely because the automatic door to the alley did not function either in order to take the trash out), and lawn furniture that had not been cleaned in some timeThe response was that "they could not control nature"The piles of junk in the neighboring yard reminded me of [redacted] ***The interior had been recently renovated, but the couch wobbled because it only had legs, the beds were not made and obviously no one from BMV had been there to notice prior to our arrivalHaving utilized similar vacation rental services in Florida and Hilton Head Island, this Arizona stay was a huge disappointmentThis was more like staying at a college buddy's house after an unexpected drop by - a place to sleep and shower, but not much elseI would advise trying out a competitor or finding a reasonable resort

The email does state that they will contact me within 24 hours once the reservation was reviewed and my payment was successfully processed. I called them after 27 hours to make sure my reservation was approved and the woman I spoke to told me it had to be a mistake. The rental was going for $14000.00 per week. I explained to her that's not what I was quoted yesterday . She had no interest in what I had to say and I had no recourse. She was extremely rude and was always talking over me.
