It appears that Platinum Travel Network's 2013 scam sending postcards appearing to be from American Airlines, has been modified to say, "Southwest Celebration", although Southwest Airlines has nothing to do with this award, which tells people they've been identified for an award of 2 round trip airline tickets, along with a 3 day / 2 night hotel stay at selected destinations. Postcard says to claim this award, simply call toll free 1-844-663-1609 and mention your promo code. Upon calling, you're then asked several questions to see if you qualify, and if you're not married or co-habitating, you don't qualify. Trish at the call center, and her supervisor Mike, claim the postcard says that certain restrictions apply for receipt of award, but it does not, and you're also required to sit through a 90 minute sales pitch in Mesquite, TX, for a discount travel company, Book n Fee. Postcard was fraudulent and sales pitch is likely a high pressure scam, and the chances of actually being able to use the free airline tickets will be slim, due to the restrictions that are typically applied, along with administrative fees, that are required by the third party you have to go through to obtain the vouchers. Avoid this complete waste of time.
