attention. In reference to the complaint made by the nephew of our client Mr. [redacted], although it's true that we did obtained the client's credit card information and charged him $3443.75. The service(s) that was connection to the said charged was carefully discussed to the author/client, he had full knowledge on what he would be getting and with the turnaround time as well. We understand and respect their decision however that they would like to cancel the service and with their request for a refund. But we would like to reiterate that it was not in our intention and in the fullest knowledge that it to be tagged as a "Predatory sales tactic" to the elderly. We however had made the necessary steps dealing with the sales person handling the account. We also have recordings that would prove that as well.We would like to inform your office that we have already refunded the FULL amount of $3443.75 back to the author's credit card account. that things have been settled prior to us being notified of the complaint. Our sales person/consultant **. [redacted] had in fact spoken with the author yesterday, Feb. 18, 2015 and had never raised the issue of asking for a refund. Her concern was that she is having computer issues on her end that she is unable to send (as she thinks) because of the failure notices she receives whenever she sends an email. As of this writing, we in the company continues to work on her project as agreed and she is fully aware of the progress as well. In line with this, there had been continuous correspondence from our author service representative **. [redacted] from Jan. 21, 2015 up until Feb. 18, 2015 with the corresponding response as well from the client. We certainly understand that what may had prompted the author in making such complaint was her inability to contact us via phone and some issues with the email. However, this does not impede us from fulfilling our task as agreed by the time she made the purchase. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:
Dear [redacted] (Revdex.com) Re: Complaint ID: [redacted]Thank you so much for managing to get book Venture Publishing to pay me what I am owed up to date. They paid into my account £227.68, which believe is what they owe myself up until the last quarter ending in June.This takes care of the first part of the complaint but the second part, which is potentially the most important part, has yet to be resolved:I have just checked my sales report on their website and it has still not been amended back to the original 80% percentage figures as originally agreed. As explained before BV have reduced the amount of royalties owed to myself per paper back book sold to 50%, that is from £16.78 to £10.29 for each paper back sold at $20.97. They have the correct figures for the Kindle versions being sold, i.e. $3.19 royalties per $3.99 Kindle version sold but it is not correct for the paper back version. Please could you kindly get them to put it back to what it was. To be clear, the monies just received (£227.68) was paid at the correct 80% rate. Kindest regards [redacted]
