Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: Apparently Economy Bookings is in denial that they are in the wrong I don't think they even read my response to their denial How in the world would anybody be expected to cancel a reservation that is apparently to their benefit hours before if it as reserved only a few hours before? And why should I not have the right to expect a refund if I was told at the rental counter that they will not honor the price given online nor the unlimited miles as promised? They don't really care about honesty or about customer satisfaction, they only care about money If they continue denying that I was in my rights to not accept a higher price than offered and that I would not have the unlimited miles as stated when reserved only because I am a local resident when that condition was not stated on their website, I will never accept that the issue is solved in any way I immediately went to [redacted] car rental where they even gave me a lower price AND included unlimited miles CUSTOMER BEWARE! We have carefully checked the complaint and received a response in the case from the partners.Our partners from NU car rental informed us that the client canceled the reservation on location since he did not accept T&C of the rental company.According to the conditions, the full amount of rent was USDAt the time of booking from the customer was taken prepayment of USD and the rest amount customer should to pay on location.
Under the terms of the contract, in the amount of USD includes the following options:
Mileage UnlimitedFree amendmentCancel Protection (provided by Booking Group) Extended Excess Protection (provided by Booking Group) Roadside Assistance (provided by Booking Group)
In the value of the voucher did not include the following options and charges:Insurance.Taxes and fees.Out of hours fees. Additional equipment requested at time of booking or purchased locally (Like: child seat, booster seat, snow chains, navigation system (GPS))Upon arrival at the location, customer has been asked to pay the remaining part of the money for the rental period as well as for the required options and fees that are not included in the cost of His voucher. I submitted to Booking Group copies of the offer that was made to me online which the car rental company refused to honor. But it makes no
difference that it would have been impossible for me to cancel the fraudulent
car rental offer hours before I rented it as it states in their conditions, and it does not matter that the
online offer was not honored as to cost, miles or even as to misleading the public
that the car would be available at the airport which of course gives it a air of reputation & reliability, this company will not refund
anything at all. So it’s buyer beware

Review: Hi, I booked a car rental online using booking group.com. I paid for the rental upfront on 10/**/14. When I arrived at the rental counter on 5/*/15, they said that my rental was cancelled and if I wanted a vehicle I would have to create another whole rental contract. The new rental ended up costing me a lot more money. When I contacted the fox rent a car main office as directed by the workers at the counter, they said the rental was cancelled by my bank. I used my credit card which was a [redacted] freedom card to book the rental.

When I contacted [redacted], they said they would hold the charges and get back to me. Several months passed and I got a letter saying that the charges were valid and that I owe all the money for the rental. I have tried to contact the person who sent me the letter from [redacted], but she will not return my calls.

Somewhere between the time I booked my rental and paid the money and when I arrived at the counter, my rental was cancelled. I really don't know if Fox rent a car is involved in a scam with booking group.com or if it truly was [redacted] who cancelled the rental. I just want my money back and for the people who are involved in this ripoff to be caught so others don't get scammed like this. Please help me!Desired Settlement: I would like Fox rent a car, or booking group.com, or [redacted] card to send me a full refund for the rental for all of my hassle.

Review: On October *, 2015 I booked a rental car online agreeing to a set price and milage.

The rental company sent me a confirmation email telling me to pick up my care at

the Ontario Airport.

I needed to pick up the car on time as I was on a set schedule but when I got to the airport

rental area I discovered that the rental company in question was not one of the many

car rental companies there. So I called the number on my reservation and was told that

the car was not at the airport itself but at a hotel across the freeway called the Ontario Airport HOTEL.

So I rushed to the hotel and was told at the NU Car Rental kiosk that the price was to be totally different and

because I was a local resident I couldn't qualify for unlimited miles as stated online.

My total costs would be much different so I canceled my reservation and asked for a refund.

I gave my request to the car company directly as told to do but they don't care to answer to my request

for a refund.

I have screen capture copies of the original rental terms and price showing their deceptive advertising

they display online which is not honored by NU Car Rental.

I sent them emails and have even called them asking for a refund but they just ignore me.Desired Settlement: They charged my credit card for a car I did not pick up so I just want a refund.

Review: My mother who is disabled was going to rent a car while my can was down so I could get to work and I could get her to her Dr. appt. We booked with booking group. When I set up for the car rental with them choosing dollar rental they didn't give any company policy's besides drives age and that they had to be a licensed driver over 25 yrs. old. It was not until I got to Dollar rental I was told that there would be a 350.00 deposit required of which we were not told that. I contacted Booking Group right away and informed them that we were not told about that and we didn't have the 350.00 deposit therefore we unable to pick up the car.The booking date of the car was May [redacted] 2015.I have contacted them several times to get my mothers 108.79 put back on her card.it wasn't until July [redacted] after calling, and sending messages that I got any kind of response back from them and they agreed to only give her back 58.79. I see this as they robbed my disable mother.Desired Settlement: I would like the remaining 50.00 plus any interest put back on her credit card.

Review: I booked a reservation with Economy Bookings. I called and told them that my flight was on the [redacted] of December at 11PM and I would arrive in [redacted] at 2AM and would need to pick up my rental car around 2:30AM. I arrived at Fox Rental Car in [redacted] Florida at 2:30 AM as I stated to the booking company. They said the booking company had made my reservation for 2PM and had cancelled my reservation. The car company would not honor the reservation. I was stranded in the middle of the night with a child a long way from home. The car company was happy to give me a reservation at double the price. I called the booking agency. They will not call me back. They only send emails. They said clearly they have the recording that I was correct in my reservation and the operator put it in wrong but they were still going to charge me a fee. I would like your help to stop these people from doing this to any other travelers. I have all emails and recorded conversation of booking. Please help!Desired Settlement: I would like booking fee returned as well as them to cover the difference in car rental paid!

Review: Ordered a car from them for an incoming out of town guest for business. he was unable to find the rental location at the [redacted]irport, where he flew in. We were unable to reach them over the phone.I have tried calling multiple times to resolve this issue, I have also tried emailing customer service repeatedly to no avail.Desired Settlement: The products/services were not used and I want my money back. I don't feel this organization is legitmate.

Review: I reserved a vehicle online to pickup on ** Jan 2016 at 11pm. When the reservation completed it said the pickup was for ** Jan 2016 at 11pm. When I called the representative told me that I would have to pay $130 MORE to fix the reservation or I could cancel it. He told me his name was Bob. I asked to speak with a supervisor, which Bob kept telling me there was none. Then eventually he put me on with someone named Robert. Robert said that I would be able to get a full refund due to the fact that it was not my fault. I received an email on ** Jan 2016 stating that my refund was only $5.87 because they charge $33 for cancellations. I should not have to pay for the company's downfall.Desired Settlement: Refund my $33
